George bush won Florida by 537 votes. Do you think if they did a manual recount of the votes, that Gore would have won? What about the influence of the republican secretary of state, Bush's brother Jeb and Nader? And the massive voter disenfranchisement that occurred? Do you think the supreme court's decision was in violation of the consitution? Do you think this will happen again

This was a really controversial issue nationwide. I think a lot of people thought the 2000 elections were rigged (I personally wanted Mr. Al Gore to win...) but there was also a lot of support for Mr. George W. Bush.. so I don't know who would have won.

I'm pretty sure an incident like this won't happen again. If it happens to the Democratic side, I believe they definitely won't let such an incident like the 2000 elections happen all over again.



--Off topic, but I believe I heard Al Gore say he won't be running for President again. Can anyone confirm this or does anyone have any information about that? ^^

You know that movie he made about global warming?
I watched that movie and in it I think he said he wasn't going to run again.
It was also on the news too.

Speaking of global warming, (sorry, off topic too), if Al Gore was president, it's possible that we wouldn't even be in this climate crisis right now.
