Hi I was wondering how i convert these music files. I can only listen to them on Windows Media Audio, but not Itunes or any other programs.

I want to upload these songs onto my ipod, and that's why i want to convert them.

They work fine on WMA but don't even add into Itunes

Can you right click and select properties to see what type of music file it is?
& Then download a free ____ to mp3/mp4 converter? :]

for windows xp

open any folder

go to tools

you will see tabs

select view

untick box for hide extensions for known file types

all your files now will have

e.g. for mp3 files song.mp3 or wma files song.wma

change the extension of the songs from whatever it is to .mp3

just click yes or ok if there is a pop up about changing file extension

and that should do it and you don't need to use any mp3 or wma converter using this method

note: you can change wma files to mp3 just by changing the extension
