Anything With Swollen Tounges?

So my friend has a swollen tounge. His taste buds are like white and his tounge is really rough. He says he has like white cracks too. It doesn't really bother him unless he thinks about it. He has been going through this for 2 weeks already. Should he be worried?

Tell him to see a physician. Doesn't sound normal.
