How Would You Define Intelligence?

1) Rationality: Ability to logically define something, refute ideas logically, support ideas with logic using past experience, examples, actual facts, etc. as opposed to opinions and feelings. Logical processing and rationality make sense, whereas opinions and feelings are subjective to each individual and cannot be compared with one another.
2) Open minded: Being able to go into any conversation and listening to the commentary before you decide your stance on the issue. Entering a discussion with your mind decided and ignoring all commentary is the opposite of open mindedness. You cannot apply rationality without being open minded.
3) Analytical ability: Ability to use the information/situation presented and adapt the best possible scenario/answer given past experiences or knowledge.
I don't consider someone who has an A in school as intelligent, rather, I consider them as having good memory as exams mainly consists of utilizing your memorization skills to answer questions. This is true because if you had a book or your notes in front of you, you would be able to ace the exam. You can argue that open book exams counter this point, however, most exams are not open book.

Although I agree with your 3 points. I do not see it as a hard fast rule.

Well, topic name is how would you define intelligence, not what is intelligence.

I just look in the mirror.
Ryan, he asked how would you define intelligence, not how would you define muscles.
I define intelligence as a person who comes out on top when life throws you all sort of curveballs. You're able to take solving problem under difficult circumstances to the next level.

So if we take the literal sense that intelligence is simply the amount of "knowledge" one is subjected to, then everyone is in a way, intelligent.
Who's smart?
The kid who is on level 100 in World of Warcraft is smart.
He knows his way around the game and the functions of it.
He knows how to increase his character's potentials and abilities.
He is skilled in the knowledge of the system of the game.
He is smart.
The girl who does nothing but SHOP till she maxes out dad's credit cards.
Society classifies this girl as an idiot who is only engaged in materialistic things,
but in a sense, she is intelligent. She knows what looks good on her. She has knowledge
of what is popular, what is appealing, and what is sure to attract the attention of her pupils.
Okay, so she's not exactly smart, but girl who shops knows what she is doing.
It goes on and on.
I could tell you that I am retarded but know exactly every pizza flavor on this planet and I would consider myself
a GENIUS.. of pizza.
How do you define intelligence? You don't define it, you just ARE.
