Have you ever felt like that the person likes you for what you are? Like they have a list and tick it. And that they like you because you're everything on their list? This guy likes me and I was talking to him and I got him to see that he never really liked me for who I am. He just really liked me because I was everything on his list. We're still friends, that's good. I was just wondering if there is anyone out there that feels some people just like people for what they are not who they are....
Do you fall for people that have something that you like and that they are something on your list? Or do only know if you're going to fall for them when you're near them?

a mate of mine was going emo on me about how everyone loved his hair.
lol.
-sighs- i miss my old siggy
"i do not want awesome hair"
_ personally...
i avoid emphasising any of my superficial qualities [i don't gel my hair, wear nice clothes, own cool things or boast about my taste in things].. as well as killing my first impressions with people.. [half of the time]
all in the name that THAT doesn't happen to me..
then again.. i don't know how i am these days..
_ if ever anyone liked me for what i wasn't, it'd probably be my .. puppy eyed side of me.. leashed up and tongue out.. smiling and all nice. [it happens when i like someone... ] normally i'm a total jackass .. [dw, i'm changing..]
_ or if i actually ever dress up nice [ i john teshing HATE looking nice.. it's humiliating. >>' ] _ i always get that comment from who i'm going out with saying "everyone's thinking you look like a model.. LOL " then they'd start walk as if they were the lucky person friends with a model...
[i'm not john teshing joking.. lOl. or boasting... _>>' + NO PHOTO. KAY? ] lmao .
_ so yeah.. i hate it when people like me for what i'm not... it doesn't happen often though, but i still avoid dressing up or looking/acting nice..
:] as much as you girls love a well-dressed man. MWHAhahaha~
it's just not worth watching someone hug what they like, and not you..
it's not even love..
lol.

I don't really have that 'model' look about me, so people don't really hang around for me that. But if they did, that isn't real friendship or love.

I feel like that sometimes. I apparently have one of those "take home to mom" looks... like I look young and innocent, when in actuality I'm pretty weird hahaha! I don't know, it's hard to explain. I sometimes feel guys are only interested in me because they think I am attractive and not really care about who I am on the inside.

Yes. I've been there. I didn't like that one of my female friends wanted to be in a relationship with me just because I'm Black. I felt like an action figure or something. Lol.

"What People Think You Are" and "Your Real Self"
Not many people do see your real self unless they get to know you really well.
Only a few people really know me.
