I really can't get along with my parents. They never talk to me and the only time they do talk to me is to yell at me. They think I'm a really terrible kid. But I get good grades and I'm active in after school activities. They don't care about me when I'm sick and they don't get me medical help when I need it. They're rich but they never buy me anything. They ignore everything I say and they never know whether or not I'm home or outside. They blame it on me when they don't know where I am even if I told them 10 times I was at a friend's house.

I just hate them so much.

They break promises and I just feel like they love my baby sister so much more. My parents are divorced so I feel like my Dad loves my stepmom and my baby sister so much more.. ;_; I wish I could be closer to them but it doesn't feel like they waant to be closer to me. If I'm just quiet and away, they're so happy. If I didn't exist, they'd be so much happier and they wouldn't care.

I know this thread is really emo but I really just need to find a way to resolve my family problems. I don't feel like I have anyone to talk to about this...

that alone show they care about you..

they don't talk and such cuz they could be busy or they find the questions you ask are nothing important.. try keep asking them. they'll answer eventually.

you just need attention.. thats what kids need. go make friends or find more hobbies.

maybe you burned their -lol- collection when you were a baby and they never forgave you.

:/ but i turned out to be alright, i'm kinda lucky since my brother does all the evil things that make me look good. [even if i'm the oldest, who's meant to be independent + not really looked after >>]


i think it's just a matter of small talk.. or doing what they want you to be..
i'd clean my room or do the dishes, go for morning walks or appear to be studying LOL - just so they don't keep thinking i'm just on the computer 24/7

they're probably jealous you're happy all the time, with friends and a fun life while they're stuck doing crap jobs or staying home cleaning all day. -sigh-

Oh my gosh SHUT THE john tesh UP. I am so sick and tired of these parent-hate threads. Wtf do you want them to do, throw you out in the street and kick your ass for no reason? If they don't talk to you then why the hell don't you try to make the effort and try talking to them? My gosh seriously what a little...jeez If your mom hated you so much, she would've killed you even before you came out of her.

If you think they'd be happier with out you and why the hell don't you just run away instead of crying and moaning when your not even trying to connect with your parents, especially your MOM, the women who, even if you go out and kill someone, can never ever hate you and puts up with your whiny attitude.

i'm sure it won't be easy, but try to get close to your baby sister. be a part of her life, and that way, you'll see more of your dad / step-mom.

try to talk to your mom too. if she's busy, help out around the house to make your presence known.

and of course, see if one of your friends is going through something similar. it's always better to act angsty with someone in person C:

just get a reality check. instead of whining or complaining about it, do something about it. why bother telling us on soompi. all u can do is try & spend more time with them, we can't fix ur parents.
