Question 1: Ladies or guys have you ever given out a fake number to a guy/girl? If so, why did you do it?
Question 2: When 2 people are around each other a lot or communicate a lot(6 months or so), and you know there's chemistry. Why do ladies always tell people the guy is a friend when they like him?

1: Yes; When some organizations or sororities ask for my number, even though I'm not interested, I listen to what they have to say out of courtesy and just give them a fake number xD Haha yeah it's bad... And if a guy who I think is shady asks for my number, I gave him a fake one because I'm not stupid =)
2: Yeah I do like him and he acts like he likes me back... but I want us to stay friends because all our relationships ended badly to the point where we never wanted to see our exes again. I value him more as a friend who's always there for me than anything else, so it's best just to stay the way we are right now and deny that I like him. So he is just a friend! =P
Haha does that answer your question?

1. No.
But a reason might be that after chatting it up, he/she decided that there wasn't enough interest and gave a fake number to avoid direct rejection or it was away to get away because the person was a creepy or crazy
This is based on what people tell me.
2. Privacy? Shy to admit?
