Phone, AIM, webcam, going out during the weekends, sneaking out late at night.

I've done all of these.

This is why mutual friends are awesome. Say you are going to the park or movies with a friend and have her come too wihtout your parents knowing. If the other guy knows he will back off and thats free time for you.
Wise words: To know someone else you must first know yourself.

Texting, chatting, and Facebook.

You're not allowed out of the house? Ever? Even if you're just going to meet your friends or something? Wow, your parents are really strict.

well, my bf graduated last year and i didn't transfer to his high school until then, so either way i never went to school with him, lol. but i used to use school events as an excuse but now i just tell my parents that i'm staying after school whenever. we phone all the time and he drops by sometimes when no one's home. its risky, but totally worth it. just be really careful. XD

Phone, msn, my free school days (I tell my mum that the school is having a free dress that day haha) and thats about it...we didn't really go out much which was really sad because my mum is strict and plus I felt guilty lying and going out like that. (Yes I have a conscience and I'm a girl)

your parents sound like my mom. i'm 18 and i'm still on house lockdown. can't chill with friends like twice a month. (wtf is that?!) never had a sleepover. can't have a bf til i'm outta college (PFFFT). but now since i got the car, i can drive around when i dont have class (but she thinks i have class)

to answer your question, i lied ALOT. snuck out ALOT. ....yea i'm terrrible.
but i dont do bad things! parents are just so freaken strict , i can't help it

Don't worry dear. My parents were like that when I was in grade school too. Major house lock-down. I wasn't allowed to see friends outside of school, no school dances, etc. They didn't back off until I was actually in college. And even so, they're still pretty damn strict about going out at night. sleep.gif

Anywho, about your boyfriend situation. You can still maintain a relationship with him even if you don't see him outside of school, just tell him the truth. If he likes you enough, he'll understand. And you can always use the excuse, "I have a club meeting after school, I need to stay for a couple hours." And take advantage of those times and spend it with him. Or if you both have a free period and one of you have a car, you can always go out during those times. That's what I did in high school, if I knew that there wasn't anything due/to do in a certain class, I would just ditch it and hang out with friends. biggrin.gif You can always chat, IM, Text, call. Come on! We're living in the digital age, take full advantage of it. biggrin.gif
