Get a FM transmitter, I bought this cheap kind from Woolworths for about $15. But i think usually they are pretty pricey around $80-150 for the brand names.

Basically u set the FM frequency u want to be transmitted, then plug that transmitter into the ipod and it will work. simple.

Does your car have a cassette player?

You just play the empty tape and plug in your mp3 player on the other end.
The sound quality does apparently wear off after some time.

The easiest way is:

to buy 3.5mm auxiliary input cord. One end plugs into the CD deck and the other into the headphone jack in your Ipod.

(The auxillary input cord shouldn't be too expensive - definitely not as expensive as the iTrip transmitter)

Only $15 at Woolies? I'm going to check that one out.

Actually in california, I know its illegal to have something in both ears. I think one ear headset is the exception for it. They fear you won't be able to hear emergency vehicles and stuff so don't use earbuds, but don't forget to crank up your sub wink.gif

Don't know where to check, but your car probably has a option for aux input and if it happens to have a cassette player the cassette adapter is always decent.

Even better, RCA jacks hidden in the center console work as an auxiliary audio input. And in one of this car's intriguing tech quirks, a video input sits next to the RCA jacks, so video can be played on the car's LCD.

Just get a 1/8" to RCA cable like this http://www.radioshack.com/product/index.js...oductId=2103859

And if your car happens to have a headphone jack you can get a 1/8 to 1/8
http://www.radioshack.com/product/index.js...oductId=2102949

Use those as an example of what to look for http://cgi.ebay.com/Aux-Input-Cable-for-20...1018107005r9712 is like an applied example of what I mean.. (who cares about what they are selling)

If this question was asked in the Car Section, i'm sure there would be better answers.

But if you want a true intergration and none of that cassette adapter or FM transmitter junk, the only adapter that I can find out there is the USASpec PA11-NIS. This will plug in behind the radio and you will have a dedicated iPod connection as well as a input jack for other devices.

The only problem is that if you have a SAT or have the bluetooth option on your radio, you can't use this adapter. This adapter also costs $125 from http://www.discountcarstereo.com/detail.aspx?ID=701 .
If you really are seeking the best sound quality with the most discrete install, this is your best option.

It is dangerous in a way if you think about it. People can be honking at you and you wouldn't be able to hear them. So say you were driving and you're about to hit someone, you wouldn't be able to hear their horn with your earphones on. Also you need to be aware of cops sirens and ambulance sirens too! It is the law and if you can't hear it and you're in their way, you'll get a ticket. Just giving you a heads up.

Also, plugging in your Ipod to your car is a good idea, because sometimes you just want to listen to the music outside of your ears, it's different if you try it yourself. And other people would like to listen too sometimes ^^

Your 2007 doesn't have an auxiliary port? All the infiniti I've been in has it. In order of quality from best to worst would be

aux port
cassette adapter
fm adapter

the sound quality will be loads better if you get it installed via aux port, im pretty sure its in the back somewhere. i always get static when i use an FM transmitter, so i decided to go the hard wire route (:

It's illegal to have both your ears covered.
People "think" you're an idiot? +1 to that.
Answering cellphone while driving is also illegal.
