Historical Events Any historical events that ever interested you?

I know not everyone is not a history geek, but have any of you find anything that happen in history that ever interested you? For example something like the holocaust or the construction of the great wall of china.

I got really into a book about the Rape of Nanking. But I like everything history. I can't get enough of it.

World War II in general is really interesting; especially the build up and Germany's struggle which led to Hitler's rise to power. As well as anything to do with Communism... Soviet Russia, the Korean War, the Cold War etc.

I like history overall, after all, I am a history major biggrin.gif
What really caught my attention was how Christopher Columbus started the slave trade.
And like most people, WWII and the Holocaust.

The Civil Rights Movement, Rennaissance Era, and of course like the majorities here, WWII (Holocaust).
