Sorry, I can't take screen caps , but perhaps someone else can. If you watch the new shows you can see that he's missing a tooth on the right side (his right) and it's in the back so you have to catch it when he smiles big. I don't think it really matters or makes that big of a difference because Yamapi usually doesn't smile that big anyways.

well that only reassure my believe that in japan they don't care about teeth at all. in any other part of the world if you lost a tooth wether you are a celebrity or not you inmediately fix it. it is something so easy.
but well maybe thats their culture or something like that and at the end we don't love yamapi because of his teeth.

Maybe he's in the process of fixing his teeth? Because you have to remove some teeth in order to have it fixed, but I'm not sure, I'm just hoping that's the reason. I remember reading in his jweb that he hates the dentist though. So sad... Pi needs to take care of his teeth since he loves to eat so much.

well. yamapi is currently starring in this on-going drama "operation love" and its pretty cute too =) (romanji: proposal daisakusen)
hes gotten skinnier in this drama~ which i am happy about. =D! tanner too. which i am totally loving!

umm. i love yamapi in "dragon zakura". loads of pi. and i love his hair then (thou not many agree....) and i felt pi-baby's acting skills got better in that. (but went down again in nobuta.. *ahemmm* anyways)

i love "long love letter". but pi didnt have a big part in that. well, u get to see him for about 5 min every episode at least, in the background or taking over the screen.. =)!
i'd probably recommend this the most. cause it has a great storyline, really different from other dramas, and loads of other pretty boys too. =D! its not as predictable. its definitely a classic and must-watch (but not for pi, i must stress!).

i am not sure where you can get the above in chinese or english anymore.
i just wish you luck getting them on utube! =)

Toma is Yamapi's best friend, they went to school together too.
They were together in a band called 4tops with 2 others, and everyone expected that there would debut together but somehow they didn't [i heard somewhere that Johnny had a grudge against Toma. Johnny has alot of power in the entertainment industry so most wouldn't want to get on his bad side]
Yamapi was taken out of 4tops and was made to debut with NewS. This was a shock to everyone. Yamapi wasn't happy about this and kept his distance from the other members. Also he was told that NewS would only last 2 months so he just wanted time to pass quickly but NewS continued on.
Unlike Yamapi, Toma didn't apply for University because he wanted to put his everything in his work, but Johnny hasn't even allowed him to graduate so he is still considered as a junior.

The boss of Japan's biggest talent agency, a man who spent 37 years plucking teenagers from obscurity, is at the centre of a scandal that could bring his empire down.

Johnny Kitagawa, 68, has been accused of sexually abusing many of his young male charges, including one aged 12. Police, abandoning a traditional reluctance to pursue such cases, have announced an investigation.

Alumni of Johnny's Jimusho (Johnny's Office), are everywhere on Japanese TV. A survey showed they appeared in 80 shows and commercials in one year alone. At the peak of the boy band boom in 1995, Johnny's, by then known popularly as the 'Pretty Man Factory', registered earnings of 2.9 billion yen (�17 million). Since Kitagawa's first success with a boy band, the Four Leaves, in 1963, he has produced a steady stream of dancers, singers and actors, many now household names in Japan.

The allegations surfaced last October in Shukan Bunshun, a respected weekly magazine.

Kitagawa vehemently denied them, and launched a libel suit. His lawyer says he is the victim of rumours spread by former clients who lacked the talent to succeed.

The magazine refuses to back down. It has made further accusations in graphic weekly instalments. It claims to have spoken to 12 teenage boys who took part in the agency's residential training programme. They tell of sexual abuse, including rape, allegedly carried out by Kitagawa.

As long ago as 1988, a former member of the Four Leaves published diaries which contained claims about the mogul's predatory behaviour among young recruits. And in two books published in 1996, another former Johnny's talent, Junya Hiramoto, said he saw Kitagawa rape a boy in one of the agency's dormitories.

Newspapers, magazines and commercial TV stations, all of which depend on the agency for new stars to indulge the lucrative youth market, ignored the revelations. The authorities took action only after Yoshihide Sakaue, a Liberal Democratic MP, raised the Shukan Bunshun campaign at a parliamentary committee.

Signs are now emerging of a change in Japan's attitude towards sex crimes involving minors.

In November, following pressure from America, Germany and 12 other countries, a new law made it an offence, punishable by up to three years in prison, to pay for sex with under-18s. The sexual exploitation of children in the entertainment business is nothing new, but social attitudes in Japan discourage public discussion of such matters.

Whatever the outcome of the impending investigation, the fact that such a high-profile figure is at its centre may provoke a debate on how effectively Japan is protecting the rights of its children.

Yes, kinda like SM Town but even more powerful and more, hmm, suspicious? Cus in Korea, you have SM Town, but you also have YG, JYP, etc....in Japan, JE is like THE talent agency.But they only accept MALE trainees (hence these reports about Johnny Kitagawa molesting these boys...) The talents start out as TRAINEES, then becomes JOHNNY's JUNIORS where they do appear on TV as backup dancers to their more established JE senpais. Then after a few years, if JE thinks they're idol worthy, they're officially launched as Johnny's Idols through this formal ceremony.
