lately all my friends and i can talk about is the twilight series ! its pretty popular right now so i was surprised i didn't see any talk about them on soompi.. actually im new to soompi & pretty confused with everything so i probably just couldn't find it x] anywhoooooo..just wanted to see if any soompiers wanted to chitchat about the series. any edward or jacob fans ;] personally i dig jacob but i wouldn't mind an edward either i read the series so don't be worried about ruining it for me.


seriously people the book is AMAZING. when i first heard of it i thought uh vampires and a humungo book isn't my walk in the park but i could not put the friggin book down ! legit it is bombbb. all my friends have either read it or in the process and feel the same. its 4 books and deff not enough. oh and theres a movie being made into it so check it out if u dont wanna read it. i cant wait November 11th is the opening day ! guess whos skipping school on that day ;] (squekss*) CAN'T WAIT. its similar to harry potter so if you liked that serious you'll love twilight.

omg i thought this was hilarious since i perfer jacob myself , reasons why jacob is better:

1. Jacob is alive. Edward is dead.
2. Jacob is warm and cuddly. Edward is an ice cube. He has to cuddle on top of the sheet so Bella doesn’t freeze.
3. Jacob is happy and smiles all the time. Edward is moodier than a PMSing adolescent.
4. Jacob listens to Bella and compromises. Edward decides what’s good for Bella and dictates.
5. Jacob makes Bella happy. Edward makes Bella anxious and obsessive.
6. Jacob and Bella have equal power in their relationship. Edward has all the power.
7. Jacob made Bella sad for two weeks. Edward make Bella suicidally depressed for many months.
8. It takes Jacob one day to apologize for making Bella miserable. It takes Edward most of a year and a whole lot of drama.
9. Bella loves Jacob for his sunny personality. Bella loves Edward cuz he smells good and looks pretty.
10. Jacob’s age difference to Bella is two years. Edward’s is one hundred (robbing the cradle much?).
11. Jacob is only dangerous to Bella when he’s angry. Edward is dangerous all the time (especially once a month: If Bella’s paper cut puts him on edge, what does her period do?).
12. To be with Jacob, Bella would live life to its fullest. To be with Edward, Bella would say goodbye to all family and friends and DIE.
13. Did I mention: Jacob is hot. Edward is freezing. Who wants to cuddle with an ice cube?

I personally dislike Twilight. I tried reading the book numerous times, but can never get past half. Maybe it's just me, but I could not handle the fact that Edward is TOO perfect for his own good, and Bella the main character is just so weak overall to earn me any respect. And what the heck is with the comment that oh Edward is so hot, he's so dazzling every freaking time -____-;;?

Anyways, I read a lot of books, and I read them unless they are REALLY boring (see fourth book of Dune... I read up to the third that should be saying something) Here's my take:

I've noticed that Stephenie Meyer likes to write about love. Any of you read The Host? Anyways, I've also noticed that she likes her female character to be completely and utterly pathetic. I seriously cannot believe Bella's whining. At first it seemed somewhat cute and innocent but as the books and series went on Bella's spineless personality really annoyed me.

But yeah, I could totally write a huge rant about Twilight, but I shall refrain from doing so.
