Ds Lite: Polar White How do you clean the shoulder buttons?

I'm going to buy a polar white ds tomorrow, but I also heard the L/R trigger buttons get dirty easily as they turn yellowish or a darkened shade of white. Does anyone know how to clean it so it looks brand new?

but i have a black one and it's always clean:)
but then again, i recommend buying a silicon cover. keeps it nice and shiny with no fingerprints

does that actually work? my brother's macbook has yellowish/darkened white spots near the palm rests..not sure if it was from his hands or because of overheating haha.
