KBS replaces Love Letter with Lee Hana�s Peppermint

Yoon Do-hyun�s Love Letter is going off the air, but KBS is looking to fill the void with a new program, a live broadcast show to be hosted by Lee Hana (Women in the Sun). (Lee�s management explained that they are considering accepting the offer, and will make a final decision early in the week.)

The new show is operating under the tentative name Lee Hana�s Peppermint. (After Kim Jung-eun�s Chocolate, what�s with all these dessert-themed programs?) In fact, already comparisons are being made to Kim Jung-eun�s talk show on SBS, which is performing �better than expectations,� and the two actress-led live broadcasts are headed for a showdown. (Maybe, probably.)

In other news, Lee Hana is also taking the radio mic with a new segment in the Saturday program �Lee Juck�s Ten Ten Club� on SBS Power FM, which will feature listener requests for memorable oldies. She�d appeared on Lee Juck�s radio program on August 14 and performed her own song live, signing and playing the piano herself. She followed that performance with another of her self-penned songs last month on Yoon Do-hyun�s Love Letter, and said, �My desire to be a singer keeps growing.�

Yoon Do Hyun's show is OLD too, like I thought it stopped airing a couple yrs ago. Oh well, hopefully this show will pick up most of the slack.

Can't wait to see this new show. Hopefully it can match up to YDH's standards! I don't know much about actresses since I don't watch that much dramas. But Lee Ha Na looks familiar. And she's pretty.

Note to KBS World (Asia) viewers.

We are suppose to be able to watch the last episode of Yoon Do Hyun's Loveletter later today. However, up till now, I have yet to see any preview ads on TV. Upon checking the prog schedule at KBSW (Asia), it seems they are showing One Night Two Days instead. This switch also appears in next Sunday's schedule.
Looks like we won't be able to catch the last episode of YDH LL nor LHN's Peppermint from the new programme lineup at KBSW (Asia) . . . . damnnnnn

On that site, it states that the premier will be in December 2008. Wondering if they've finally decided to sub the show, considering the time delay . . . *crossing my fingers*

Did a check on the KBSW (Asia) prog schedule . . the timeslot might now be Sunday mid-afternoon around 3:30pm (KST).

This is still tentative, cos both KBS Korea, & presumably KBSW too, are in the midst of their twice-yearly prog schedule reshuffling.
