I would assume conditioner is good for your hair...
It helps with giving moisture to your hair..

I would say shampoo may be more of a bad thing
for your hair because it can strip your hair of its natural oil
thus making your hair too dry...

I don't see how conditioning your hair could be a bad thing.

Generally speaking, conditioner is good for your hair as long as you choose the right one which is suitable for your hair types (oily, dry, etc.) and does not contain too much harmful chemicals. ^^ Anyway, you should avoid to put the conditioner directly on your hair roots because it may lead to hair loss. Google it to find more information about that. smile.gif

Yes,it's good for your hair and it's best if you use it. Shampoos are acidic and conditioner are alkaline that's why conditioner should be used to neutralised your hair.

I heard that condition is good for your hair but its not good for the sculp
so never let it get contact to the sculp, just do the hair ...
this is what i heard from some hair stylist

Yeah of course conditioner is good for your hair.

It moisturizes the ends of your hair (where the most damage is), and makes hair stronger and healthier!

Some products, such as Pantene, may make your hair feel luxurious
But in reality, it is just layering on a wax coat on top of your hair cuticle
and your real hair isn't getting much nutrient at all...

^ i'm not sure which, but most conditioners make your hair APPEAR nicer because they contain silicones which just temporarily coat your hair until your next shampoo. If you don't use conditioner you'll notice that in REALITY (that is, without the silicone coating) your hair may have split ends. Conditioner pretty much acts as a cover up really. Kind of like how foundation just covers skin problems until you wash it off.

Conditioners are good for your hair, but yes, you can over-condition (which basically causes oily hair).

My scalp can get oily so I make it general rule to shampoo from my ears up and condition from my ears down. I've been doing this for a while and it seems to help my hair from not getting oily as quickly.

YES IT IS VERY GOOD.
Hah sorry sweatingbullets.gif

But chemists can only fit so much chemical in a shampoo bottle so they have to make a conditioner.
They don't just make two bottles to make you have to buy two xD for no reason.
That's what I chemistry teacher told us laugh.gif

I know how to answer this! biggrin.gif
I actually ran and grabbed my Chemistry book to write the whole thing about it in here:

To clean hair, we use shampoos. Most shampoos are alkaline because alkalis dissolve grease present in the hair. However, as alkalis damage hair, we must always rinse away the shampoo after use. Hair conditioners restore the pH of hair to its normal value. Most hair conditioners contain weak natural acids such as citric acid or tartaric acid, which neutralise any excess alkali left in the hair after shampooing.
© Pearson Longman: Science in Focus, Chemistry ('O' level - 2nd edition)

Personally, I tried using hair conditioners before because I thought it will make your hair smoother and straight but nah, no difference whatever so I've stopped.
I don't care about alkalinity or whatnot.
