Liquor before Beer and you'll be fine if you're new to drinking, later on it doesn't even matter you can just drink liquor, then beer, then more liquor, then more beer, and it wont matter.

well i was trying to figure what would somewhat kill the taste of horibad jim beam, and lo and behold orange juice works rather well, the taste is near gone

then again, im NEVER buying jim beam again, omg that deep south 5hit is terrible, needa stick to the deer liqour jagermister or w/e its called from Germany, that stuff is so much easier to take

Yea ironic this came up when I was playing C.S. yesterday as well. I think the theory behind the slogan "Beer before liquor, never sicker, liquor before beer, you're in the clear" comes from the fact that most beginner drinkers don't realize that the alcohol hits them at a later time, so when they drink beer and not feel much since there is a delay and then liquor, the impact is much heavier as they wouldn't realize their limits or the difference between liquor and beer and overdrink. If they were to be hit by the liquor first, then they would hold back on the beer.

i hate mixing drinks, its not good to have tons of different alcohol in your system, they just dont mix well and tend to uh want to come back out .

liquor before beer, after that beer would just taste like water.

i normally drink beer after i had too much other alcohol and want to calm down and sober up, while still drinking and having fun.

Well as a general rule for myself I never drink beer and go straight for the hard liquor always. When I drink I dont drink for fun. I drink to get drunk.
