i have this guy friend who really really whine a lot.
from college work to family and his personal life problems
in the beginning i listen to him , trying to comfort him. but then he still whine whine whine whine.

i mean.. in my view there;s no point to whine even though you cant do anything to solve your problem.
seriously it was a turn off for me. guys shouldn't whine so much.. it kinda annoy me =.=.. sometimes i think im a bad person for a friend to think like that.
as a friend i onyl can cheer him up and make his life easy. the rest he needs to face the problem himself.
(he's the type of person to runs from problems)

.. now i dont really talk to him alot. cus we have different class schedules. i guess he got his own friends to whine to. lol.

so do you ever had guy friends who whine alot?

my neighbor and one of my friends. my sister.


my neighbor = really lazy, never wants to do any work. my mother didn't come get us from school b/c he said he had swim practice, so she wasn't there, he started yelling at me in public.

my friend = whenever something doesn't go her way, she just WHINES. she's used to being the center of attention, like a spoiled little kid.

my sister complains about EVERYTHING. so one day we were sitting there w/ one of our friends and she was complaining as usual. finally that friend just up and yelled at her to shut up. she's stopped complaining so much since and they get along much better

U should approach him in the rite way...
...idk...maybe u can tell him that what he does doesnt help him at all, the more he whines the worse it is for him...
...tell him to get on with things...face them...accept them...and move on !?! or do smth about it !?! cuz if he keeps whining everytime...he's gonna stay on that 'spot' n never move on...

I know a guy like that. He'd talk to you about his whole weekend. If you don't see him on Monday through Friday, when he calls he'd tell you every little detail that happened from Monday through Friday. He'd complain complain complain and blah blah blah for hours. You can even set the phone down, go cook dinner, do some laundry and vacuum the whole house and then come back to the phone and he'd still be giving you every little detailed that happened.

Yeah like having a woman whine all the time is such a turn on as well. I think whiny people in general are annoying. Though I may complain, I'm actually willing to take the action necessary to change it. But problems always seem to come up anyhow so eh...

1. say how hot some successful and optimistic guy is
2. then say how you wonder if he has any problems, and if he took care of them

or

1. tell him off and say how sick you are of hearing his whining

Omg, i know someone like that too. She whines about her uni work to me soooooooooo much it's annoying to the point where i can't be bothered to cheer her up. I don't know if she is a bad conversation starter or just being a total baby. She's not dumb either, she just wants to complain about everything relating to uni...I'm like if you hate it so much, why bother coming...save you from whining to me every day! She wants to choose the same classes as me next yr...i don't want to be stuck with her...i can't stand people who are always negative.

tell him to point at someone or something, then tell him to look at his hand, 1 finger is pointing at the object of blame, but 3 of his own fingers r pointing back at him

whiny people are just annoying in general. doesn't matter if it's a girl or guy.
i mean, i whine when i'm really stressed out and about to explode, but most of the time, i tell myself to suck it up.

I don't really like people who complain a lot. If they need to talk some issues occasionally it's fine but, it they keep complaining all the it wears me down. Either you be really nice and just bear through it whenever he complains to you or you can just avoid him by saying you are busy and have to leave whenever he starts complaining lol.

But I find it weird when guys complain more then girls. It seems unnatural. Or it's probably just me...
