Well first of all I'll tell you about this guy:
well he's the ex of one of my good friends and they broke up last year.
he goes to a different school, the other side of the city
and he's two years younger then me..

ok so this is the story::
One night he randomly(as in like we haven't talked in like a couple months) texted me a chain text. Surprised, since we didn't for the longest time, i texted him back saying,"hi, wow it's been so long.."
and he texted me back saying,"i know that's why i texted you, plus i missed you dummy."
after that we continued talking then all of a sudden he asked me out...
but i told him that we didn't know eachother well enough to be going out...
and after i rejected him, i talked to his ex and she told me that i shouldn't like him or talk to him because he was the "worst" boyfriend and guy in the whole and that he would ruin my life...
but i sorta didn't believe her and so i continued talking to him..
he told me that he was just "infatuated" with her and with me it was something different..
i knew that he was just saying that.. so i ignored everything he told me about their relationship..
but then yesterday he began telling me that really liked me and stuff and that he wanted to see me..
blah blah blah..

i don't know what i should do..
i sort of think i like him,
but i don't want to go through the same thing my friend went through..
plus all of my friends including the ex is against the fact that i'm even talking to him..
i know that i shouldn't be listening to my friends and stuff about these things but i would rather keep my friends then have a boyfriend.. ok well i meant,, since my friends don't know him i should be listening to their advice (plus none of them have been in a relationship) but still i'd ALWAYS keep my friends over having a guy to be with me..

you tell him to meet you up somewhere on the weekends. somewhere boring. somewhere cold. so at night
then leave him hanging. dont go. and if he asks you online (not on the phone cause youll be ignoring him) why you didnt go,
