I just have a quick question for the males.

I asked this in another thread, but ill ask it here in 20+.

Would you guys grab and hold a girls hand while walking if you didn't like her?

That would be a no for me.

Heck, I'm too shy to even try that even if I did like her.

No. Only exception would be if she is in danger and I'm pulling her away from danger or if I am not in the right state of mind, but otherwise no.

I would, but 98% of guys wouldn't. I do random things like pick people up, give them piggy backs, hug them, hold their hand... whatever I feel like really. I always LIKE the people, but not like like them, knowmsayin?

I'd only grab a girl's hand if I liked her.

about the flowers thing... i've had them delivered to me at work, and i was always too embarrassed to display them. my bf at the time wanted to know why i wasn't putting them on my desk, and i just said i thought it was like showing off. you have this huge, colorful bouquet in a tall vase, and if you put them right on top of your desk, it's like a big arrow pointing to you. i can think of a lot of people who don't want that kind of attention, myself included. so i always put them under my desk and brought them home. the idea of wanting to show off to our coworkers -- i think it's less common than some people seem to think.

on the other hand, flowers are always nice. it's the thought that counts.

Arghhhhhh *frustration*

I keep on bumping into an ex of mine (who tried to force me to do certain things I wasnt ready for at the time) at this popular taiwanese cafe. First time I saw Nathan with his "bros" (still our mutual friends), he actually called my name because we were at neighboring tables, but the awful emotional scars he left forced me to stare at him for a few seconds and eventually ignore him.. second time I walked in and Nathan was there again.

Tonight I was out with my best friends, just getting a breather from the house and all when his "bros" walked in and he stayed outside smoking. I said hi and chatted a while while Nathan kept peeping inside.. the thing is, he didn't want ANY of his "bros" to know of our relationship at the time, so of course they're all confused as to why I'm pretending to not know him. I'm sorta close with one of his "bros" but I'm not sure if I should explain it to him? @@.

After the guys walked Nathan inside the cafe we left with me being paranoid and all...

Just coincidece? > _ <..
This all happened in a span of less than a month and a half....
Don't know why I'm putting so much anxiety to this.
I don't wanna stop going there anymore; it's a fun place to be. T.T.. ahhh.. what to do???? T^T

Relationships are so complicated.

I decided to break it off with Dave last night (like I have been trying to do for the last month). Then I saw him and talked to him, and he told me that the one thing that was keeping us from really being a couple is going to happen on Monday and after sometime, we'll be free to be with each other. My resolve broke and I couldn't end things.

I never thought I'd worry or care about anyone the way I care about him. He got into an accident last night and called me first but I was sleeping and didn't hear my phone ring, so he called his ex. She went to his house to take him to the hospital, he called me back as soon as he hung up with her and I answered. I can't go see him because she's over there but I"m so worried about him.

Here's my question: How do you make yourself stop loving someone that you didn't even know you loved until you end up doing something like sitting awake all night wondering if they were okay and how badly they were hurt?

I need to stop loving him because it's painful for me to love him - but I still do. I can't even believe it's love but I have no other way to explain this feeling. I'm falling for someone I don't want to fall for.

Give this current incident some time to blow over. Right now, you are genuinely concerned for his well-being and that's a natural human reaction. Maybe what you are feeling right now is a little bit of guilt since you were about to break it off with him and then this happens. This guilt, mixed in with your innate altruistic concern for his well-being as a peson, is perhaps getting you 'cross-wired' emotionally into thinking that you have hopelessly fallen for him.
But judging from you demeanor, you still seem logically grounded in the fact that you simply don't want to fall for him. It's just that unfortunately, the situation at hand has served to only complicate your intentions.
Obviously, I'm no expert here. I'm only postulating that your genuine human response for his well-being after an accident is somehow being confused with love. My only initial gut advice is to simply let the current situation work itself out. Get some clarification on his condition and assurance that he's alright. Then see what Monday brings. I imagine by Tuesday, maybe things will be more clear for you emotionally. But right now, it's a confusing time because you went into last night emotionally resolved to do one thing and then a catastrophic event happened that forced you to incur an emotional response diametrically opposed to what you had intended.
In any event, just don't dwell upon it now and allow what happened to take it's course. In due time, when you are more emotionally in check, you will either have regained your original resolve or at least have a better gauge of what you really feel for him.

Well, if you weren't wearing your shirt, I can see how you could be construed as an amusing oddity to the little girl.
BTW, I don't know if posting about a flirtatious encounter with a 3-4 year old is something to be posted in a love & relationships topic thread? ph34r.gif

Just thought I'd post something positive. The girl I've been dating for a month. I surprised her at work with a flower and a note attached. Me coming up there was bad timing, and I thought she was mad at me. Just because she looked pissed off, but me giving her that made her day.

I don't know how to answer your question, basing on your single picture in your signature.
Maybe you smell like candy or something, who knows. No one will know but the 3-4 year old girl herself rolleyes.gif

This may sound weird, but I feel like kids and definitely animals can read people very well. I used to run an EB Games, and I'm a very jolly and kind person, and my co-workers weren't always. No matter how I looked physically (a beard, a dark shirt, clean cut, whatever), the children always preferred to talk to me. Some actually would come in just to visit me, and got all excited. I don't think it has anything to do with physical appearance, I think some kids just get a good vibe from some people.
