No way. You got to learn how to get the girl to be comfortable around you in person, using IM to get the girl to open up is a cop out. Learn by doing. Yeah, I've been nervous, had my share of awkward moments, regretting saying certain things, and it sucks. You feel like a fool when it doesn't work out. But when you do get it right, oh boy!

I've tried aim several times before to avoid awkward discussions or to get a girl to be more open- it's a shortcut that can come back to haunt you later.

of course you have to make them comfortable but you better have attraction first. if she not attracted to you, you are just making her feel comfortable she going to label as "a friend" not the "potential boyfriend".

I don't know what's going on here, nor do I pretend to know, but maybe she just liked being "pursued" by you (through your requests to hang out) and now that you've stopped, she's suddenly missing being sought after. I don't know, maybe it's just all a game.

well she didn't offer to meet up. she just kept asking if i see her on campus or apparently she looks for me cause she mistakes people for me. i guess you're right about me thinking too much about why she wants to see me and not just asking to hang out with her or something, but i don't think i'm going to ask her to hang out. the last thing i want is for her to make me more confused when i should be worrying about lsats and school instead. on another note, i hate responsibilities. i want to be a kid again. or get a sugar momma. then life would be so easy and i wouldn't have to work hard or study lsats or go to school.

Its a film about a caucasian lady (Vera Farmiga, star of "The Departed") who pays a Korean guy to get impregnanted by his sperm. It is right now nominated for the Grand Jury Award at the Sundance Film Festival.

I heard that men get around 200 or 300 bucks for sperm. And yeah, it's a really extensive process for women... hormone injections, 10-15 doctor appointments, and then they stick a big needle through your belly to harvest eggs. They don't cut you open or anything, but none the less.

Plus, women are crazy enough with our own natrual levels of hormones. I can't imagine pumping even more in... If I ever considered it, I'd definitely have to either be single, or get them to pay for a hotel for me. Poor Jord has enough to put up with a week or so out of every month as it is.

The newspaper at my undergraduate institution regularly ran advertisements by agencies that harvested ova from women. They offered as much as $20K compensation for donors who met certain requirements: taller than 5'10", body weight 110-150 lbs., SAT score at least 1400 (on the old test). I always thought that the SAT score cutoff was too low. If a couple is paying $20K for an egg donation and demanding that the donor be as tall and thin as a fashion model, shouldn't they also demand a near-perfect SAT score too?

Maybe I think this way because I've absorbed my parents' priorities: "What?! You got a B? 정신 차려!"
