so eversince i came to college, ive meet quite a lot of people, some where i've met through others, and others ive met through other things. for instance, i met this guy at a school club and we introduced ourselves even spoke for a while in a group, and now i see him on campus, quite often actually and i don't know if should say hi. i mean since we met once, i don't think he even remembers who i am, its just i don't want to come off as rude. and there are several others whom ive met thru one of those school activities but again i don't know if i should say hi, and its not like they say hi either.

so question is, do you usually say hi to someone you've met once, and you don't even really know them?

I'd say hi.
Just to make friends. lol
I mean, you're not gonna get anywhere if you don't start talking.
You could just be like, "Hey. Do you remember me when we met at ___?"
or whatever.
If they don't remember, just re-introduce yourself. lol
Are we human or are we dancer?

Yeah! Why not? If they don't remember you, that's too bad for them, now isn't it? (:

I'd say hi if they looked like the type that wouldn't snub me.
If you know what I mean.

Hey, I am in this situation too... there's this guy I see everywhere and he is also in my discussion group but I never really said hi... he's n my floor and I see him almost everyday so I decided to just get somewhere and out of nowhere, I said Hi... I felt good afterwards. So yep, just say Hi and smiles....

If you don't say anything they might have a bad impression of you and may actually think it's rude.
As touchthesky said, just a nice "Hey, do you remember me?" or something along those lines.

Lol I think it makes it awkward if you've actually TALKED to the person and see them again and don't say hi =)
I find that if I'm really unsure about the situation, I would just wave or smile so at least you acknowledge them ^^ hehe*

most likely the person is asking themselves the same thing "should i say hi or just walk away & pretend i didn't even notice him/her?" so why don't you just take the initiative & just say hello first? i usually say hi or wave after meeting a person once cause then that's how to build friendships with people you just meet or the next time they might just not even talk to you & then it's AWKWARD if you see them again (does that make sense?). haha (=.

Just go for it!!! Guys like girls that are spontaneous. I'd say hi even if I never saw the person before in my life lol.

It depends. If it was just a short introduction, I wouldn't really say hi because I wouldn't know if they remember me or not and it would be sort of embarrassing when they don't know who you are.
If you held a conversation for longer than about 5 minutes, I would definitely say hi or at least acknowledge their presence.
