so i finally got a video of me driving my car laugh.gif. one of my friends wasnt able to go so he lent me his camera. this was my first time running this configuration, my 2nd time running ccw, and my first time with the bus stop bypass. the thing i dont like about in car cams is that you dont get a good sense of speed, so ill give you some references. in the esses after the main straight i would hit 110 before braking for the left hand sweeper. on the back straight i'd hit about 130-133. the left hand turn after the drop is really fun when its clean. you can go really fast, a lot faster than you might think, however it was only clean for like one session because people kept people kept going off and spraying dirt all over it.

well besides the fact im a lot more comfortable in my car and it was the first time ive driven his car, the rebound was set way too soft on his dampers so the car felt really floaty. it never really felt planted at all

i havnt done anything to my car in awhile

That last bit of the S-curves, car lost a little bit of grip looks like. Was it because of the mentioned sand? That lap seemed kind of short, but nice driving none the less.

heyitzthatfc - yes, he was going to go GT35r, I believe. One of those two, I believe.

on the s curves there are a number of factors.

1. im trail braking
2. i took a lot of inside curb
3. it didnt happen in this clip, but when you brake for that turn your outer wheels are on the curbing and your inside wheels are on the track so that can make the rear end swing out

however i would intentionally have the rear end slide a bit there so i could carry more speed into the turn. in the beggining of the clip i had it slide a little too much haha

short lap? its longer than a lot of tracks, laguna seca being one of them, and this wasnt even the longest configuration of the track.
