I don't break but I pop lol
Still not that good though, so yeah.
I'm sure poppin doesn't called bboy as well lol.
Man, I always wonder why poppin can't have a cool name like bboy as well lol xD
anyways I tried to learn it since my cousin learned it, but.. no luck.. i think it's coz I'm quite heavy lol.. I'm little bit fat i think, even though people say I'm not.. but the fact that I can't do a turtle? forgot the name, or was it a freeze lol, means that I'm lil bit too heavy I guess xD

We only know the basics like six step, freeze, turtle.. but the leader of the group can do windmills, headspins, air baby, air chair, and a lot of amazing moves.
We practice once a week so hopefully we will get better and better and perform in competitions

Back in the days it was common for funk/disco records to have a "break" in them or the record breaking down to a rhythm section where you might only hear drums or drums being accompanied. So its like most fun where u can really break loose on the dance floor. Obviously Hip Hop came a long in the 70's, DJs started extending the "break" for dancers to get down to and wah-laaa you get the BBoys or BGirls (breaking boys and breaking girls).

well I just started learning........ well not really.... 1 month.. maybe.. lol.
At first I've always thought it's pure muscle for doing bboy...... but not really.... once you actually get into it...
I guess yeah for some move you have to be quite strong.... but if you do basic freezes..... it's mostly balance... and some strength.... and what I mean by strength is only wrist strength lol. You don't really need muscles... for freezes, I think. But I have to say that your wrist will hurt like hell the first time.
Actually. Cross that. For most you just gotta have the balls to do it. Coz some does sound scary and hard.
does anyone have any tips for learning forearm freeze... I always fall to the front. And that hurts like hell.
Against the wall is a good idea?

H3LLL YEE..
