On Friday I felt a cold sore appearing, so i applied Zilactin Early Relief and I think it burned the top of my lip D: but anyways, the blister is small but it's still there. Has anyone ever tried Zilactin and the shell/brown part stuck to your skin and burned/stained it?
I heard Carmex/Blistex/Abreva works but I'm not too sure.
Are there any suggestions on how to heal a cold sore faster?

have you tried any home remedies? they work the best for me
vaseline - gets rid of dryness/cracking
ice - rub an ice cube over the area for 10 minutes 3 times a day
honey - apply to affected area
also, eat a lot of yogurt and relax

abreva is probably one of the best there is...
but yeah, the healing period is a week or more depending on how severe it is, you just need to wait it out
