I figure i'd compile a list of the car reviews i've done for our car forum. I'm deciding right now if this is something I want to continue to do or not. Maybe its just me and i'm feeling under-appreciated or the fact that i'm getting closer to running out of cars to review (as a San Francisco City Carshare member i've driven most of their different vehicles). I've been 'short-term' renting these cars for my A-B commute as well as for review.

The original purpose of me doing these reviews was to give some information and some insight into cars that are new, economical, small and simple to drive. Cars that would suit many first time drivers (as we see many on this forum). I don't want to see my reviews fade away, as each time I drive and review these cars it does cost me money out of my pocket and well it seems like a waste now. I guess i'm losing my motivation to keep doing these reviews.

Well here it is once again:

2008 Honda Fit review:

2008 Mini Cooper Convertible review:

2008 Mini Cooper review:

2008 Smartcar fortwo review:

2008 Scion xD review:

If there is public interest, I will make a 2008 Toyota Prius review or i'll scrap it.

Though I like your reviews, I just think you're on the wrong site to be doing car reviews.

But if you continue, I'd like to request a review on the new Accords if available to you.

i like reading your reviews, the review of the prius sounds interesting but.. if it's costing you money and it's not necessary for you to drive them, then i don't think you should.. but it's up to you, it's your money after all. =]

you might want to start reviewing some good cars instead of boring crap you couldnt pay me to drive

The cars I reviewed are small economy cars which are geared towards practicality and fuel economy. They're not meant to be fast or great handlers (in fact i've yet to come across one that has both), but this information is here so that people who are looking for these types of cars have some sort of real-life opinion on it from a average person, driving and testing these cars on regular streets and doing typical errands around the city.

I know some people have their own opinions on these cars, but what i'm doing is laying out what I think about these cars from a (attempted) optimistic view, giving first impressions and occassionally comparing it other cars i've reviewed (because comparing these economic cars to a performance car isn't fair).

I should clarify that although I do pay to use these cars (not a horrific amount), I do use these cars for doing errands or just plain A-B and then B-A, so I do get to use the car for something practical, and not just a test drive. Its just that I picked different cars to try instead of using my default Toyota Prius (which occassionally can cost more (i.e. the Mini Coopers) to rent.

I do enjoy reading your reviews, although not the type of cars I would probably ever drive, but its nice to know how it is like to drive or own one of those.

Hey keep it up bro. I do appreciate the reviews that you've done. Also the cars you have reviewed are the ones most people are interested in because those cars are the ones people actually buy. It may not be as interesting as a review for a Bugatti Veyron, but people will read it in the interest of actually buying it. Practical. For me, the reason I haven't read most of them is because I don't have much time, I'm really busy. When I do find the time, it doesn't come to mind for me to find it.

I have a suggestion. Since you've consolidated your reviews into this one post, I think you should link this thread into your signature. People can read it, and also provide their own feedback if they have driven it. *thumbs up*

I'd request a review for maybe a slightly older car, something that first car buyers can afford, like old Hondas, 240SX(for the sporty wanting people), etc. Otherwise keep the reviews up for the new stuff like 08 Civics, something I would drive if i had the money.

I've read over a couple of the reviews and I say good work

I think you should write a guide to buying a used car. That'd benefit first time drivers too.
