i'm not too sure, but i think you two had enough fun and it's time to turn the to the next chapter of your lives...
obviously he still loves you, but he just doesn't feel like he's the guy for you. oO' and i don't think there's any helping that.

Well alot of couples break up around that time,
1.5 yrs isnt long at all. I think u guys should just break up instead of dragging it even longer you know?
You both will meet great ppl when u graduate and move on to college or university
