my ddr player friends are so freaking weird, but hilarious. we seriously make an interesting troup of players. like, we took a bunch of rutgers post-it notes and wrote a bunch of randomly stupid funny messages that only we get.

story of the day:

so i'm having a pretty bad day, and i'm sitting in my asian american studies class and i realize that i don't have my timberland. i ask the teacher if i can go get it (partially because i don't feel like doing busywork in groups), so i leave. as i'm walking to the comp lab where i left my jacket, i think to myself, i'm a little hungry. so i head over to the dining hall, which is like right next door and get some food. after that, i grab my jacket, and think to myself "i've gotten away with a lot, but it's still not enough," so i walk to au bon pan and get a big frozen mocha blast. as i'm about to walk in, my jacket is just hanging over my left shoulder, hiding the drink from my teacher who is on my right. as i walk in, the class sees this huge drink and they all start cracking up. my group is like, WTH why'd you get that?!? so i sit through class drinking this, and she doesn't even seem to notice/care. at the end of class, the guy next to me is like, "did you go out just to get that drink?" and i'm just like, "no, i left to get lunch, then i got my jacket, THEN i got the drink." i'm pretty sure those cute upper classmen girls were giggling over that one.

so febuary is my month of concerts (somehow, it always seems to be)

tommorow: tristan prettyman @ the roxy
- she's like a folksy singer? she's the acoustic singer/songwriter girl that surfs. if i had to compare her to anybody, it would be jack johnson. she'd be like the female version of him. she's also jason mraz's gf.

next week: ernie halter in fullerton!
-he's also another singer/songwriter, but really lubeedubee songs. he's decent, decent guitar player, decent singer. i'm really going cuz it's like a 5 min drive for me, and i'm a HUGE fan of live music, plus i love his songs.

so, i haven't been on posting in a day. nothing of importance really. today was pretty funny though.

so i'm having another craptastic day (somebody took my phone when i was with my friends playing DDR, but that happens later =.=), and so i had to wake up early for my 9:30 class. i'm pretty tired, and so i close my eyes on the bus to the campus. the next thing i know, i open my eyes, i notice i'm headed in the wrong direction. i fell asleep on the bus. =.=
