So my bf doesnt do this purposely...

But its been bugging me lately and i feel like im being ignored!
Example: We went to the mall me, my bf and his brother. We go into a cellphone store and look at cell phone i said to my boyfriend: "omg i like this one! doesnt ur classmate have this one in a different color?" right then a split second after, my bf talks to his brother and was like "yo, u should get this cell i heard its really good." and then i say "hun what about this one? does it have a rogers plan??"
(he's still looking at the one he was suggesting to his brother) and i repeated "HUN do u think this one comes with a rogers plan???" and finally his brother noticed me asking again and again and he was like "probably" and i just walked out of the store so pissed. He got food for me in the food court, and was like whats wrong??

I know he doesnt do it purposely... are all guys like that? Really bad at multi-tasking?

One time he was looking at a car forum on the internet and i asked him what he wants to eat so many times..he didnt hear me until i pushed him.

ITS SOOO ANNOYING.

For me, I'm the one that can multi-task and it's my girlfriend who can't. Depends on the person.

I hate it when people do that. I have a coworker that pretends not to hear me when he's typing an email. He only responds like 20 seconds later.

My sister is horrible, she'll be chatting on the computer and then I'll ask her something, and I'll wait like 10 seconds, then ask again and she goes angry.

well, i have the same problem with my GF... so can i ask if girls can multitask? haha

but it all depends on the guy.. im not able to multitask.. but i tend to put full attention to my gf ^-^

Well maybe he just really wanted to focus on what hes doing.

Also I think multi-tasking was proven to be impossible, unless they're really simplistic tasks.

nah, some people are just like that, not just guys. I can't multitask myself. If i'm on the phone, I can't watch tv or talk on aim, etc. It's not like he does it on purpose. Don't be so mad at him
Most guys are usually known to reply very slow on aim though, because they're busy playing games and doing god knows what..without the courtesy to put a "brb" -___-

It depends on the person. I cannot multi-task very well, and I'm a girl. Whenever I'm doing something, I'm very focused and concentrated on that, so I tend to not really listen to anything else around me. I have trained myself to pay attention to outside interference containing the words "Fire!" or "Fight!" though, and then my legs automatically take me off somewhere else.

My bf, on the other hand, seems to multi-task fairly well.

Haha, but I do warn him. And he waits until I get my msn-ing over and done with, then I can just talk to him on the phone.
But I recommended that he just chats with me too, that way, he doesn't have to wait. Haha.

=O. I can't drive and talk either. LMFAO. I get really angry when he talks to me while I'm driving.
I dunno. My boyfriend is a REALLY good multi-tasker though. He only asks me to repeat when he didn't hear me.

HAHAHA. Your boyfriend is soooooo dense it's cute. Whenever i'm on the phone with my bf and he asks me a question it takes me a minute to register into my head and then i'm like huh what'd you say? and then he says "what are you doing? you're multitasking... i can tell" lol. I mean .. on the phone it's one thing cause usually what i'm doing is reading but in person multitasking doesn't get in the way.

what they're doing, like if they are working
on something or they are watching FOOTBALL!
then they will be unable to respond quickly but
you have to admit us girls do it all the time too.
Like everyone gets distracted by something.

But from what i know, guys can multi-task

its not really multi-tasking but rather your bf zoning you out while he is enjoying the awesomeness of the cellphone heh. think of it as him being in his own little world for that 10min or so.

i know some of you might hate me for this (hehe) but i do the same thing while i'm driving and my gf is talking to me. it seems like it goes in from one ear and out the other and she gets pissed sometimes. if anything, guys are pretty good at multi-tasking haha. try driving and at the same time observing traffic ahead of you while listening to music and listening/responding to your gf/bf while your singing the song in your head lol
