So i have a few guy friends, and one of whom i'm dating. They always seem to either forget or back out of plans that we make.

Guy #1: He's a promoter at a club and it's his first time promoting an event there. Being a good friend, i will go support him. Then the night of the event, he didn't even show up rolleyes.gif . I don't exactly like clubbing, but i went just to support him. And he didn't even show up in the end! And he didn't even bother calling me to tell me he can't go. I showed up with a friend, didn't see him, and so i called him. He didn't even pick up and ever called me back that night rolleyes.gif . Also i'm always working on my project in a computer lab at school once every week, and he always says he will go there and visit me the day before. He never does dry.gif

Guy #2: He and i were invited to go clubbing because it was our friend's birthday. I didn't want to go alone, so i'll only go if he goes. He said he'll go. Ok, so i bought the ticket and everything, got it all planned. Then a week later, he said he doesn't want to go and said he'll call me the day before clubbing to tell me whether or not he'll go. I was already a bit p*ssed because i bought the ticket and everything, but whatever. So it was the day OF clubbing and he STILL didn't call. i was like wtf at least have some decency to call me even if you don't want to go. I ended up having to call HIM. and he didn't go in the end sleep.gif. wasted my ticket. There are a few other times when he said we would hang out and planned it all out. He said he'll call me the day before to confirm, and he never did. He sometimes cancels out at the last minute too.

Guy #3. The guy i'm currently seeing. We were supposed to make plans to meet up for dinner yesterday, and a few days ago he said he was gonna call me the day of the dinner to set the time. So i waited for the phone call all day and he never called. So i got fed up at almost 7pm and called him. Turns out he forgot rolleyes.gif

So yah are most guys like this? Or maybe it's just the guys that i know. I just find it annoying. No manners. At least have the decency to call if you can't make it out.

Those guys have bad time management skills. You're just meeting the wrong ones. Perhaps later in life you'll meet a guy that actually keeps his words and not be annoyingly flaky. Because most guys aren't like that.

@_@ i admit that i tend to be late to whatever, whenever, no matter how important it is..

it's mostly because i get distracted by something and forget about it... as well as the time.. [bad habits/culture ]

_ guys are typically/genetically disadvantaged when it comes to memories.

but i think they'd at least be very sorry .

_ it looks like someone has to teach them the courteous thing to do. burning it into their memories by yelling at them may be a good idea.
memories stay when emotions are stapled with them. and guys aren't emotional creatures [y'know..that half brain thing..]

Guy #1 and Guy #2 are jerks. Let's forget about them.

Guy #3 could be in that category but he might have made an honest mistake.

Next time let them make the plans and if they don't then I think their just acquaintances.

those guys don't seem to care much of your plans with them
i hate people who make plans then back out, i mean why make them if you'll break them?
and people who don't say they're going to back out are even worse cuz it's last minute
some guys seem to have bad memories but how could they... STUPID JERKS

hope you meet better guys,

Blood type B. LOL stop seeing guys with Blood Type B hahaha
I'm a blood type B, and yeah...I find myself backing out of the plans the day before the event. LOL
But yeah...NOT calling is not cool. I don't like it when they make you wait and then not call.

Bad time management? That sounds like making an excuse for them

IMO, simply put, those guys are inconsiderate jerks, a-holes.

I do agree that most guys aren't like that.

I used to attract flakey guys.
Flakey and late. Two traits I hate in a man.

You'll find better ones.
Who's always ready, never late, and always remembers smile.gif

unfortunately it's very normal for most guys once they settle down into a decent relationship - maybe u need to be less avaliable....or maybe he was only interested in the chase...
