==' personally... it's tiring to live each day like it's the last. [don't ask]
and people... are also tiring.. . D: it's a fact.
and it's almost like an ethical thing.. "do not take your loved ones for granted"
but.
being anxious about a person's life constantly is rather .... unhealthy. o_o'
in an exaggerated, yet summarised, way of putting it. [ the importance/values of another person to someone]
_ >>' you know how confusing my posts are. just discuss....
i can't contemplate about it right now. >.>'

Taking Things For Granted can it be a good thing?

Should someone take their loved ones for granted? Yes & no (more towards the no side).
Yes in the sense that you know that they love you and that you love them. If they do something nice, let them know that you are thankful.
No in the sense that the way they treat you should not be abused (i.e. yelling at them because what they did does not completely satisfy you).
Just remember that if you take things for granted too many times, others will feel like you are using them, and as a result, they will eventually leave you.

Just because you may not always be able to live 'every day like it could be the last' doesn't mean you are taking your loved ones for granted. You can't be perfect all the time, and your loved ones will understand. I think that phrase, " everyday like the last' is geared more towards the kind of situation where the last thing you said to your lover was ' I hate you!!' or you yelled at them and the last thing they heard was you screaming. Living everyday one day at a time isn't a bad thing. =)
Quote of the year :
"Asians are fuking pussys. Im ashamed to be a part of you weak timid little race ...Maybe if asians were as awesome as me we wouldnt have so many racist things hurled at our people. If you didnt think like such a timid little slave maybe you wouldnt get racism 5 or 6 times a week like you say you do. " -CuriosityGguy I think like a timid little slave. That's why I put this on my signature.

The connotations are different between 'taking someone for granted/taking advantage of that person' and 'being secure in a relationship.' I do not take my boyfriend for granted. I know he could very well leave me. But I also know that I would have to screw up big time for that to happen. I don't think another girl will lure my boyfriend away so long as I'm around because I know he loves me and I trust that and I trust him. On the flip side, I'm not going to go hog wild and ask favors of him continuously without giving anything in return. I trust and love him--but he's neither my slave nor my property. In this way, the two differ. What you're talking about are two different phrases of speech.
