Some tablet PCs can be slow just like portable versions of windows on certain phones are slow...

^ Check out Gateway and the high end Asus. They're gonna cost alot and the features are not like gaming pc specs but tablets arent meant for gaming.

i use a lenovo x61t tablet pc for school and i have to admit it is pretty good.

@radicalCHOPSTIX: have you found the hinges of your tablet (where you push it down to lock it into tablet mode and the case open latch) to be extremely flimsy. both of mine still function, but they are sort of broken.

oh, and be careful with the stylus the right click button tends to come off easily. dry.gif

after pushing it down several times, it does feel much looser i gotta stop pressing on it when im bored in class lol. the thing i regret the most is ... that it was onsale for like $600-$700 this week and i paid $1200 -.-

oh i also don't like how you cant see anything with the screen with the brightness all the way up out doors. ):

I too have a Lenovo X61, and I find it very nice. My main complaint is Vista. It hogs up a lot of memory and makes my laptop feel slow.
My right click on my stylus has also come off. Took me like 10 min to find it on the ground. However, I never use the right click much at all anyway.

Another drawback is the sound, but I have speakers anyway. The monitor isn't too bright.

HOWEVER, I'd still rate this tablet very good. I can play some games, like Dota on it no problem. Also, my friend has a Dell tablet with Vista and it is horrible. Problems left and right.

yehh.. i've pressed mine down too much in class and the latch is pratically useless now. i think the x200 tablet somewhat fixes the problem the x61 had with the brightness outdoors. i guess ill test it try it out sometime this week.

DON'T put your digitizer back into the computer once the right click button comes off. i found out the hard way when i had to get the laptop sent for servicing (they opened the laptop, took the pen out, and resealed the laptop) after it jammed in. apparently there is some mechanism that jams the pen in there when the right click button comes off.

you'd think that lenovo would cover the right click button comming off but when i called it wasn't covered. i only got the button replaced after i told the school i bought it from was a big customer/has a big tender. .___.
