I met this guy..and at first i thought he was mean because he didn't talk much,
but after he started to open up and we talk a lot (more online).
But, when we are in a big group, he barely talks to me and he just stares a lot. When it's just us two, he laughs at me, and we have good conversations.

What is it when a guy consistently makes fun of you?
Also One time I didn't hang with the usual group of people, and he said it was more quiet than usual because it's more bubbly when I'm around,\
I'm starting to like him.

And I won't have any classes with him starting January either...I don't want to get farther apart from him..he's quiet enough.

Sadly, today I saw him sitting with a girl and they were both laughing and he saw me and just gave a tiny wave.

I dont know what to think......

Any ideas/suggestions?

he's talkative around you but quiet in a group: it sounds like he's more of a one-on-one person.

and there isnt much given information that shows he's totally into you. =/
and if he is, maybe he's just doubtful of himself cuz he's not sure if YOU like him?
So he's exploring his options a little by talking to other girls...by himself. which reverts back to he's probably a one-on-one person.

So just don't think too much about it.

The reason why guys make fun of you because it's fun. I'm not meaning as in totally making fun of you. Just like saying you're short, okay, that is so common. We're not trying to make you look bad, it's just to make the conversations more interesting. Hey, not even to girls, even we guys make fun of each other, in a jokingly way.

Im sorry.. when i read the beginning of this post... i thought it was my Girlfriend talking about me... seriously.. but then as i read on..

the class thing doesnt apply to me.. and you said you werent with him.. so yeah..

well.. heres the story of my gf and i.. i started out quiet... looking..."unapproachable." and then one day i decided to chat with her, and then next thing you know... we're going out.

Im really quiet... around EVERYONE but her... i tend to zone out so much @__@ like stare out into open air...
but yeah.. i found someone i was comfortable with.. and i was able to open up and talk :]

So... maybe this guy is comfortable with you, and when in a big group, he doesnt know how to talk to people. or maybe they arent talking to him, or he doesnt get a chance to speak up. or or.. he's shy... wait.. did i say that already?

well, yeah, with my gf and i.. we talk more online, rather than anything else, but .. during lunch and breaks, we hang out together, and we hang out on weekends too. we talk non stop... and i ALWAYS tease her about her height. and also make fun of her, but she knows im joking, and i told her exactly these words "I tease you, because i like you" :]
