soo.. i posted this in the gifts section but it doesnt look like much people go there.. :[

haha so i have this really outrageous idea i wanna try..
my ex (also my best friend) hasnt had a nice christmas for a long time
since his brother and sisters live far away

anyways... my idea is that... im going to light candles to each stair to his house...
the candles are going to trail to this romantic place thats uphill near his house (im going to call him and tell him to follow the light)
he also hasnt celebrated christmas and he says he misses having a christmas tree...
so im gonna get a small christmas tree and bring ornaments so we can decorate together
also im going to bring my keyboard up there (we had a talk before about who can play the "my sassy girl 'canon'" first
so im going to play that for him.. lol
lastly i cant think of what gift to bring him.. i just hope it doesnt rain that day.. and no one will be up there while i do this
haha...

im planning on volunteering at the police station.. and then hopefully if i can get close enough with them.. (probably not) so
they wouldnt mind me putting the candles there and lighting it because there are a lot of trees around where im going to be taking my ex
i also want to do fireworks as well.. i bought them before but never got to use them haha...

sooo i have a problem.. where do i buy not so expensive mini xmas trees.. and i want the place to look brighter but what do i use?
the place im going to be at.. is a big hill with a nice view of the city but i want there to be light around us..so he can see the christmas tree haha
i was planning on putting candles around the entire area but...im going to need a lot :/

I am in love with you.
LOL kidding.
Good idea, make sure you get a candle that is like.. surrounded
put in a cup or something, because of wind.
Get a few of those emergency lights too?? to make it brighter?

ooh yes. i was wondering the same question. lol

and yeah kmart would probably a really good place.

wow all this is very sweet.

as for the lights.. you can plant flares! haha im jk. i cant really think of any good lighting maybe those like tiki torches. they bring pretty good light, and since you're already asking the police dept. you should ask about those. PLUS they will keep bugs away! ^ ^ and you can use them over and over again!

I've never celebrated christmas, I always have to work (restaurant) *sigh* but I wouldn't if someone would do that to me ^^

Anyway very romantic idea! Are you sure you don't have feelings for him anymore?

Awww how sweet. The candles, xmas tree, everything is a sweet idea! smile.gif

Are there any bargain warehouses there? They usually have great xmas sales and you can pick up 30cm sized xmas trees. smile.gif

Very very sweet of you. Like they all said "Do you still have feelings for him?" You must still have feelings because you're doing so much for him. It's romantic!

Never Ever Give Up.

Uhm... am I the only one who thinks he might not appreciate it? The gestures seems really sweet, but also very romantic. He might think she wants to go back together. And if he doesn't like her like that, the plan might backfire and make everything awkward...

This is such a nice idea, although I wouldn't use candles, 'cus it is a fire hazard, so maybe glowsticks? And you can try just getting a whole bunch of flashlights for the tree, and some flashlights are really big and bright. If there is a chance of rain, prepare with like a tent or something and have a campout!

will it be safe to light candles and leave it burning on the stairs? that's my only worry.
you could tape christmas light on the wall with arrow signs put to follow the lights.

you can try walgreens for cheap small christmas trees but i don't know if they'll be nice tho.
