i watched the clips and well...

that jacob scene with him taking off his shirt i found was purely for fangirls...
but hey im not complaining...
the Italy scene looked awesome, im already in love with some of the camera angles...
HA BEAT THAT CATHERINE!

to be honest, i hated the 1st movie, and despised the new moon book but i think i'll end up watching it anyways just cuz jacob is such good eye candy xD

I can't wait to watch this movie! Twilight wasn't great, in my opinion, but I'm looking forward to the second movie.

i cannot stop screaming my heart out when i saw the comic con trailer...
definitely a good choice changing the director...(i'm partly bias since i'm a big fan of his works...0_0)

but...

the voltera scene is absolutely amazing...although i can't say for sure that it is like the book...it looks like they based this one exactly from how we understood new moon...
kristen is also more like bella now...the apology and the screaming of edwards name and all...
jacob taking his shirt off is too much for my lungs...actually all i ever saw on those two trailers are guys taking their shirts off...of course not to mention the amazing abs-tract bodies behind those dark colored shirts...
i love jacob's hair cut short by the way...

when i read all the books...new moon was my least favorite...partly because it was a bit draggy and mostly because of no Edward...but this movie looks more promising than the first...

THE TWILIGHT SAGA: ECLIPSE, the third film in the studio’s TWILIGHT film franchise based on Stephenie Meyer’s blockbuster book series, will be directed by David Slade from a screenplay written by Melissa Rosenberg. The film will be released theatrically in North America on Wednesday, June 30, 2010.

“We are incredibly happy that Bryce has agreed to come into the franchise,” said Erik Feig, Summit’s President of Worldwide Production and Acquisitions. “Rachelle brought “Victoria” to great screen life and Bryce will bring a new dimension to the character. The franchise is lucky to have such a talented actress as Bryce coming in to fill the role.”

Howard most recently starred in TERMINATOR SALVATION as Kate Connor and has been seen in SPIDER-MAN 3, LADY IN THE WATER, and THE VILLAGE. She was nominated for a Golden Globe for her leading performance as an actress in the HBO film AS YOU LIKE IT.

In THE TWILIGHT SAGA: ECLIPSE, Bella once again finds herself surrounded by danger as Seattle is ravaged by a string of mysterious killings and a malicious vampire continues her quest for revenge. In the midst of it all, she is forced to choose between her love for Edward and her friendship with Jacob — knowing that her decision has the potential to ignite the ageless struggle between vampire and werewolf. With her graduation quickly approaching, Bella is confronted with the most important decision of her life.

Howard is represented by ICM and Management 360.

I think Rachelle did a great job as Victoria. Ngl, I don't really buy the schedule conflict thing. The article of her upcoming proj (the one she apparently chose over Eclipse) came out July 10 but she wrote this in her twitter last July 17.

@sirenaclaxon We start filming mid-august back in Vancouver. Will see cast at comic-con next thursday in san diego though!!7:40 PM Jul 17th from web in reply to sirenaclaxon

its the same thing they did for Catherine
(although grateful why couldn't they replace people who are really not good in the cast like ahemnikkireedahem)

i went into the theater to watch Twilight for Edward
i came back out thinking about how Victoria (who only had what 5mins) was a-freakin-mazing!

Cam Gigandet had a similar situation (conflict of schedule) when he was filming Twilight but he wasn't replaced.
Summit could've arrange her schedule.
lolol! If there's anyone in the cast that needs to be replaced it will be no other than Nikki Reed imo.
She was clearly miscast. It sucks that we're stuck with her

BDH is a good actress but the fans have been used to Rachelle as Victoria.
It will be weird to watch Eclipse with a different Victoria.
