If Audrina makes it, maybe she can be Lauren. I think that's her name. the girl that doesn't like Bella? ahahaha. I love how Lauren never even showed up in the first movie, so if she shows up in the movie, the part will be really really really small

casting director? i thought they keep Twilight's crew? I wish Summit will replace Catherine. I know she's so in love with the book but she did not good job. i heard some ppl said Twilight's camera angles is similar to Thirteen. So i watched it.. Gosh, i mean it's not similar, it's THE SAME. and i found that Nikki was in that movie too. i'm very very surprised... No wonder why Rosalie had more screentime than Alice.

omg if audrina's gonna be on new moon...idk. i just hope she'll do a better job than her acting on The Hills...

i can't wait to see my favorite vampire Dr. Cullen already ^^ and i hope they'll do a better job with camera angles and stuff, all the close up panning was annoying sometimes.

I completely agree with your comment. I can only imagine what NM will be like with Nikki in it. rolleyes.gif
I feel like some fans want to keep her because she show love for the book and her energy is like a teenager. But really her directing is terrible tbh and playing favorites is a no no.

URGHH no. i hope she doesnt get picked. wow quite shameless LOL. advertising herself to the media to get some attention
dont want her to ride on the fame of twilight. yuck
i mean the critics are like already hating the 1st movie. if she goes in i am sure the critics will quit reviewing the 2nd one.

is she like trying
to get close to all the hor guys in the movie or what. o.0

Actors Look for Major Raises for 'New Moon'
Twilight continues to count the money and so will the films stars Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart. Each received a reported $2 million for the first film in Stephenie Meyers four book series. Now that New Moon has been put into production, each is looking at $12 million paydays according to the Chicago Sun-Times.

That alone will help push the budget towards to estimated $150 million before you add in the special effects for the werewolves and location shooting in Alaska and Italy.

I <3 ur icon biggrin.gif
Yeah, if they film in Italy and Alaska, the effect of filming werewolf's transformation, The Volturi... The budget definitely needs more than 37mil. i'm not expected 150 mil but it must be double Twilight's budget at least
i don't want Edward to show up in the middle of movie. i wanna save the best for last biggrin.gif... but i hope they won't focus too much on Jacob.grhhhh , just watching Twilight's script, i have no ideal which part Melissa will keep or leave out.... i daren't hope too much.

New Moon is going to be awesome! Considering Twilight is making so much money; I heard on the radio that people were watching it at least 6x's in the theaters. I have to admit, i watched it 3 times already, BECAUSE! 1st time, midnight premeire, 2ndtime: took my little cousins, 3rd time: watched it with my brothers bc we had nothing else to watched and my brothers wanted to see it.

I can't wait!!!!! <3

this is what made me really mad....
i heard that summit said that New Moon won't need to have a budget larger than Twilight's...
im writing a letter explaining why that sentence is just soooo wrong!

not true, christine was on the radio the other day and she was saying they weren't suppose to really got Italy bc of money, but she said now since the movie is way bigger then they thought, they're going to Italy to film everything.

I agree with you with the cast change...

I was disappointed with the main actor's acting skills and overall look. They should have really made cast changes.

can we just stop talking about the cast change that has already been set?! it's too late to complain now you guys. quit spamming in here whining about the cast change. *sigh* robert pattinson and kristen stewart are already going to be in the next few sequels, so why complain about the change when it will NEVER happen?

i think we should just enforce the rules in here too.

sorry, but it just really annoys me. if you want to complain, take it to the production team.

lets try to make this thread low down in that area. i don't want it to get closed.

back to topic...

daaaaang $12 million?! wow... i mean i guess it is reasonable to get paid more when the movie itself is making huge amount of money. i just hope they use more of that money on special effects. it was terrible!

I'm excited! I hope the new director (if it really isnt going to be hardwicke) does a better job than Twilight. And I hope they actually make Edward's skin look more .. uh ~sparkly or not so... ridiculous because doesn't he go out in the sun for a bit when he's in Italy? And I'm excited for Jacob's haircut. Could not stand his long hair :/

i agree with u dear. LOL the casts signed up for 3 movies. they are bound by the contract. so there's no use requesting for a cast change. lets just
hope for the better editing of the film, and maybe they will improve for the 2nd film.
we should give them chances instead of condemning them. LOL not that i would condemn robert.

anywayz 150millon budget is like WAYYYYY out of proportion. i am almost sure itz the media that is trying push the
"blame" on the leading actors. it should be like maybe DOUBLE the 37million budget for the 1st movie. and yea add some
cash to the special effects department. make edward glitter/shimmer in a more realistic manner LOL

and i think 12 million a movie is not too bad for the sequel of a film which is earning 100million DOMESTICALLY ONLY>
after the world wide releases i am sure the film will earn more than 150million.

love!mvmt i thot catherine is already signed on to direct the 2nd film

i've watched the movie and, though i thought it was choppy and some parts were cheesy/lame, i still liked it. the book and the movie are two separate things. though the script could have been written better.

i wonder if any of the producers/director/writers are going to read these fan forums and criticisms for the movie. there are things that need improvement i.e. special effects, script, and acting and i hope they do improve that for new moon. it would be a shame if they had a bigger budget and the effects/acting was not improved. sleep.gif

someone should seriously write a professional letter to the people at summit talking about what the fans want to see in the next movie.

i'm still going to watch new moon. anyone have an estimate when it will come out? 2009? 2010? these movies seem more like a fall/winter movie rather than a summer thing. haha maybe it's the whole vampires can't go in the sun and everything is filtered in blue that makes me think of wintertime.

(sighs) summit should really listen to their customers...
