he looks way better with shorter hair
i hope camilla belle (is that her name?) does get the part for leah, she sort of fits it.
and i can imagine her being bit*hy and everything.
wasn't she seen with robert pattinson somewhere like a few weeks ago too?

Yesterday her management ,when asked by Just Jared, said no. They also linked to a casting call showing the part is not currently being sought. We figured Just Jared had it right because our gut instinct, based on a number of factors, said not possible.
Today Access Hollywood said yes and stood by their source 100% when questioned.
So we thought, OK who would know the answer, and might be willing to give us a quote on the record?"
*Lightbulb…screenwriter Melissa Rosenberg*
So we asked Melissa if Leah Clearwater appeared in her script, because in the novel Leah is barely a blip on the radar. She’s in the spaghetti dinner scene talking on the phone. It seemed to us that they probably wouldn’t be introducing Leah this movie given that fact.
So…drumroll please…according to Melissa Rosenberg, "if Vanessa is auditioning for the role of Leah, she’s written her own pages to read, ’cause I didn’t write ‘em. "
Furthermore, EW, is now backing our what we have been saying.
So for the sake of our sanity, let’s save the Leah obsession for Eclipse where it actually belongs. The main female character that we all want to know about in New Moon isn’t a werewolf at all. It’s a pint-sized vampire with a hell of a wallop named JANE!

Don't want to spoil anything, but I think it may relate to how Bella finds Edward, and the whole circumstance surrounding that issue....
That's the only thing I can think of.

"It will be as though I never existed.
i love that line because it comes directly from the book~
the line is very vague but mysterious so i think it'll pull people in to wonder what the movie is about...

Copon is just trying to save face. Thank god he isn't going anywhere near the Twilight franchise!
I love that tagline too! It will be as though I never existed. but I really like When you can't be with the one you love, will you stay with the one who loves you? too! It's only January the release date seems like an eternity away if they really release it in November.
I topped a page so why not top it with the gorgeous Taylor Lautner!

he's too adorable!

Studio denies report of James Mangold directing third 'Twilight' book 'Eclipse'
By Germain Lussier
Times Herald-Record
January 14, 2009
A report tying Washingtonville film director James Mangold to the third installment of the "Twilight" saga "Eclipse," has been called false by a studio official.
Paul Pfluge, head of corporate communications for Summit Entertainment - which controls the "Twilight" property - said a report by trade publication Production Weekly that said Summit was "in talks" with the director were "not accurate."
The second film in the "Twilight" saga, "New Moon," is currently in pre-production. Director Chris Weitz ("About a Boy," "The Golden Compass") will helm the adaptation which is scheduled for a Nov. 20 release.
Mangold, who directed Angelina Jolie and Reese Witherspoon to Oscars for "Girl, Interrupted" and "Walk the Line," respectively, graduated from Washingtonville High School in 1981. His last film was the western remake "3:10 to Yuma" with Russell Crowe and Christian Bale.
Universal Pictures announced last week that Mangold was attached to direct and produce "Juliet," a upcoming novel by Danish author Anne Fortie, about a young girl who might be the descendant of Romeo and Juliet.

Anyways... I wonder why New Moon has barely any news compared to Twilight's pre-production?

cuz u gotta admit, it wasn't as good as everyone expected.
and there's a lot of negative talk from people calling it another cheesy movie
there was way too much anticipation, and expectations before the movie
so it might be better that new moon is not being hyped up as much
::sigh:: hope new moon gets better reception once it comes out

Anyways... I wonder why New Moon has barely any news compared to Twilight's pre-production?
really it was sort of circulating in the livejournals....
but w.e
As many of you are aware, many rumors had been going around that Vanessa Hudges would be auditioning for the role of Leah in New Moon. Those rumors have been laid to rest, however, Twilight Lexicon did a bit more investigating, seeing how the part of Leah is pretty small in the second book of the Twilight saga (she's only seen while speaking on the phone).
They rang screenwriter Melissa Rosenberg to see what she had to say. And here's what she had to say:
if Vanessa is auditioning for the role of Leah, she’s written her own pages to read, ’cause I didn’t write ‘em.
So, it's looking less likely that Leah will be in New Moon, but she should be, of course, in Eclipse.

Well of course Leah isn't supposed to have a presence but she was introduced in New Moon so I guess we will see from there.
