I didn't dare to stare at them for too long as i am afraid that i will die in Japan laugh.gif

I read in a magazine that Yakuza rape girls if their dad /brother do anything wrong to the gang.SCARY~~~~~~

I go to Japan every other summer and I always seem them in Tokyo while they're in their cars not on the streets though...I get really nervous and scared whenever I see them and just walk really fast. They've never said anything to me...but still...just thinking about it is scary. lol

Oo how do you tell if they are Yakuza? They all dress up in the same suits? Are they "small" or "big" guys? lol

They don't all wear the same suits. Most just wear gaudy casual clothes but a boss or a higher member of the yakuza might wear a nice sports jacket and slacks instead of a suit...lol they don't really wear all black suits like in the movies (some probably do but not as much as most people think) lol. You can identify a member of the Yakuza more based on their tattoos than by the clothes they wear though and I've seen some with missing finger tips so you can identify them by that physical characteristic also.

Yeah... I lived in Okinawa for 6 years, saw them once there. At my music lessons, at the piano teacher's house, the doorbell rang, teacher gets up and opens it up. There's a guy with crazy spiky hair and (the stereotypical) black suit, no tie, black sunglasses, asked about buying the house. My piano teacher let him go through the house, he walked by and touched the piano keys... his right hand pinky was missing most of the last part... kinda nasty looking, no more fingernail.

My teacher told him a price like 3 times the value of the house, and the guy said he'd consider it and left. There were like 5 people who showed up as soon as he got to the sidewalk, so he wasn't exactly alone =/

Never really saw them other than that, Okinawa isn't too Yakuza friendly from my understanding...

I saw a group of them once at some subway station. There was about....5 of them? I forgot the name of the station it was but I remember it was the one right by Tokyo Dome City.
they actually weren't that scary looking. XD; but yeah, the hair/clothing kinda gave it away. I wasn't close enough to see if any of them were missing their pinkies though XD

The Yakuza run lots of big companies and big businesses in Japan, and they have something going on with the government & they have spread to other neighboring countries (the underlings).
Some Yakuza dont look Yakuza , trust me. Some people & TV give you the image that Yakuza are scary looking men in suits with tattoos all over. When in fact most of them look as normal as everybody else. You wouldn't know. There are also big families that run the Yakuza clan, they're extremely wealthy & dont look scary. Yakuza bosses usually drive around in nice black cars with tinted windows.

AND , they only get their pinkies cut off if the betray the Yakuza clan or screw up in some way.
Cutting of the pinkies is a sign of having broken a promise.

To those who have been victims to the Yakuza, blame the underlings -__-
The Yakuza were originally good men long ago, like Robin hood stealing from the rich & giving to the poor, but as time passed and many people joined the clan , things changed they've done a lot of cruel & crazy things that they originally they didn't intend to do when they started . But if you think about it most Yakuza members became a member because they're the people who have been cast out by society, who have no homes to go home to, young men who stopped going to school, people who got in volved with illegal drugs, and they remain with the clan and try to fit in because it's where they think they belong. There are also people who dont want to be Yakuza but have to be because they carry a Yakuza Boss family name. The Yakuza have lots of pride & loyalty to one another so they stick up for one another, that's why if you mess with one, the rest will get you.

Yakuza got owned.

Nova collapsed and they had a stake in the company I believe.

My ex-girlfriend`s dad did some seedy work (very rich family) and she told me she knew some people in the Yakuza.
