Who would take a class like this? I have to sign up for a class with this time. It's gonna be weird gettin outta school at 8pm.

For me, that's actually a pretty decent time. I have a class from 7-10pm right now. It's shady at night. D:

yeah, i'm pretty used to evening/night classes. it's not uncommon for me to have classes from 4-7 then 715-1015. just be smart and aware of your surroundings, use your resources (security, escorts, friends, etc), and you'll be fine.

I had a class from 8-9 before. It was really dark and cold when I got out. I have taken other classes taht ended at 7. I prefer afternoon classes much more and I don't like walking back at night.

This is normal for me, I usually have at least one class from 6:00-8:40pm every semester

i thought it was completely absurd too... til i found out a lab i have to take next semester is offered 8AM-12PM and 6-10PM. i picked the night one because there's a high chance i would miss lab a lot if it started at 8 AM but seriously... 6-10 PM... who DOES that... xD i definitely wish i WASN'T doing that. T^T

Next quarter I have a 6:10-10pm class every Wednesday. I am pretty sure theres another one that ends at 10:30pm... I didn't sign up for that..

I will also have a friday class from 10am-5pm with the professor I hate dearly =)

I used to have classes that were once a week from 7-10pm... And I actually hated it in comparison to my twice a week 1.5 hour classes. Having a class once a week sounds really appealing at first but it was just so tempting to not go.

Not only that but it's kind of scary walking around campus back to my car at night. I don't think I'd risk it anymore unless I really had to take a class.

I'm really used to night classes because I always have labs at night from 6-10pm.

I actually love those classes. More relax and since I live on campus its fine.

After that you go back home, study a bit, clean, eat and then sleep. lol

i did once. it was because the prof was a part-time lecturer with a full-time job elsewhere during the day. sitting in class for 3 hrs was definitely o_0, especially if you're ADD like me. i also had a CS recitation like from 7-9pm back in freshman year. it worked out though, since i lived on campus.

I would I love night classes now. My classes are from like 6:20 to 8:00 PM. It's not that bad at all cuz you have the whole days to do work/study and then go to class at night then go home and relax. Plus you don't have to worry about waking up early, maybe I'm not a morning person so that's why. Also, you can do your homework in the morning and turn in at night....perfect LOL But next semester one of my class start at 8:35 AM NOOOOO....

i have a 6-8:30 class right now. It'll be fine if it's a class where you actually enjoy and keeps you occupied. if not.. after 7pm you'll want to leave.

I had a class that went from like 6:30 to about midnight.
It was supposed to end at 11 but it was a drafting class, so
everyone stayed late, because drafting by hand takes like 5 years...
I remember the security would always get mad at us, because they can't
leave and lock up the doors untill we leave.

i would KILL to get a class at that time, haha, right after high school just enough time for eating/running/showering. then school. not like now T.T 7-10 classes suck. dont take those, i got sleepy in class all the time.

yeah I was going to take a class next sem that goes from 6:30pm-9:20pm, but the campus is in downtown.. and the area is a bit shady.. so I chose a different course instead

Same here. One of my classes is from 7-10 pm. Other days it's 7-9pm. I think 5-8pm is pretty decent! haha >_<

i have a class at night too.
i personally love it.
i work better at night. i can hardly concentrate in the mornings.
i guess it depends on the person. :]
