No More Hard-drive Storage?

HELP ME PLEASE!

The pop-up for no more hard-drive storage kept popping up so I deleted all the programs I don't use and the files (pictures, music and clips). I'm pretty sure they worth at least a Gb or two, but now my hard-drive pop-up is telling me I have no more storage left. Why is this happening? What can I do now?

I've deleted all the things I don't need/use and the stuff left doesn't even worth the space of all my storage, I have a hard-drive of 30Gb and I'm using a Toshiba laptop.

did u empty the recycle bin?
if u dont its still technically taking up space

Have you tried turning your computer off and on again.

empty the recycle bin
or run the disk clean up utility tongue.gif and get rid of those TEMP files
