- Make sure you shower/clean/change clothes after sweating/exercising
- Take note of the soaps/body washes and shampoo/conditioners that you use -- do you notice that a specific product would make you get more or less acne on your body?
- As hard as it sounds to do, exfoliate back there! I'm not sure if it's the same for body acne, but when you get acne on your face, it's from the build up of sebum (oil), dead skin cells, etc that clog up your pores so it doesn't hurt to exfoliate your body as well. Every day I shower using Dove's Exfoliating Body Wash and a loofa. I also do a thorough exfoliation of my whole body every 2-3 weeks with a Korean Bath Towel (if you haven't heard of it, there's a thread on Soompi somewhere) -- this is seriously awesome! You'd be surprised how much dead skin you have on your body and can scrap off lol.
- Use an AHA or BHA on your body where you would get acne. Personally, I use Peter Thomas Roth's AHA/BHA Face and Body Polish. It's a bit expensive, but you only need a bit 'cause it actually foams up pretty well. AHAs and BHAs help exfoliate the skin and clean your pores. And because it's "face and body" it's like a 2 in 1 product ^^. Since using this, I've noticed a decrease in amount and size of body acne (I get it on my chest and back too). Not only that, I think the potential zits on my back have been drying out 'cause sometimes I'll feel little bumps, and they'll turn out to be hard whiteheads that just pop right out -- no blood, no mess, no scar
If you're in desparate need of something that works, try talking to your doctor/dermatologist. They might prescribe you something for body acne.
That's all I can think of for now...good luck!
