Out of curiosity, how many people of black and Korean ancestry use this site? What has your experience been with blacks and Koreans growing up? Did you learn much Korean culture/language from your Korean parent? Do you feel more of an inclination towards one culture than the other? Did you ever experience confusion growing up? Any self-image issues?
My question comes because I'm a black American woman in a serious relationship right now with a Korean American guy, and this is something that I don't know about too well yet. I've heard and read a lot of things that weren't too great about mixed children mainly in S. Korea, but most of that was relative to the 60's, 70's, and 80's. Perhaps it's a little different nowadays?
I saw the "kumeun haengbok" video from T and it was a little depressing. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hoA6wKbRrVU
How complicated does the issue get?
I'm curious to know what other black+Asian members' experiences were like as well. Koreans, please also give input.
Thanks.

That makes no sense. That's like saying
Were you going to finish your sentence?
And what exactly makes no sense (besides what you just wrote)?

That would be fine, if only he'd state what "that" is that's confusing him.

No one? Come on...I saw a couple of people who fall into this category post on here before. Don't be shy.
Koreans and other mixed Koreans can feel free to post here too.
