So I have to finish this assignment that asks to talk about your hero. It's very general, and it does not have to be formal (think of Chicken Soup for the Soul).
I'm slightly uncomfortable writing about my family hero and the circumstances that surround it, so I'm very stuck.
Soooo I wanted to ask, who are your heroes and WHY (other than your family - can include fictional characters, items, etc.)?
I just need somewhere to start, so any help would be great!

my hero is anyone who can surmount [huge] obstacles in his/her life.
so some of my heroes include lance armstrong, britney spears and gone with the wind's scarlett o'hara.

Our species is the only creative species, and it has only one creative instrument, the individual mind and spirit of a man...

oprah winfrey (donates billions)
tiger woods (num.1 golf player in the world, in spite of being banned at golf courses cuz of his color, he overcame that)
bob pierce (created world vision for kids)
susan b. anthony (advocate for womens rights)
yeah..those were some buti forgot the rest
good luck

Hmm...
One hero that I can think of was this guy who lent me money for the bus when I had no money. He was a saint!
Another one was this guy who sat next to me on my plane to Boston. He asked me, "Is this your seat?" *with a big smile*
Brightened up my day!!! Another would be Anne Rice. Her books are awesome!!! Inspired me in a lot of my works and some memorable dreams I've had.
Don't really need to go in depth with saving the world or creating a history changing movement. Just everyday stuff which will impact your view on life or just how you feel for a day.
If we can include items/objects as heroes, then I'd say the toilet. Without my dear toilet, I would never feel comfortable while pooping.
