I wanted to get one of those Mickey Mouse Head MP3 ~ aka Mplayers i believe?

When i checked EBAY there were authentic ones for $50+shipping and there were $20 ones with free shipping from Hong Kong.

I dont mind if they're not AUNTHENTIC from IRIVER but is there any difference performance wise?
Should I just spend an extra $40+ difference and get a real one
or just save my money and get the cheaper fake ?

It's mostly for looks since i already have an ipod - they're just so darn cute

hmmm I didn't think there were fake ones.. never seen any...on ebay either, have to check it out. I have the authetic one so wouldn't be able to tell you but supposedly there was one girl saying one of her ears came off.

Yup, if that's the case, then it will break very easily.
I had the authentic one and I used it slightly aggressively when switching songs.
The left ear fell off TT__TT

I had a fake one for a day. The ears were really loose. The reset button messed up; didn't really work in the end. Battery drained within an hour. Hard to plug USB cord in the player when transferring and recharging. Overall, VERY FRAGILE AND CRAP.

Don't even go near one.

^exactly what they said above! mine is fake too..stuff up in one day! then when i finally got it working again.. ears are loose, battery drains quickly. recently it decide to fall apart too.. lol lucky i had a silicon case.. other wise i think go home to find out half of it is missing..

I have a fake one, and its fine except it DOESNT SHUFFLE =_= ahhh (did any of you guys with fake ones figure out how to shuffle?)
It was good for me since i break all my mp3 players in under 6 months, no matter how expensive they are
after i broke my 100 dollar one in five months i just decided to get one thats cheap and still cute
It does seem to be pretty cheap plastic and rather infelicitous quality, but it looks cute, its cheap, and mine still hasnt fallen apart yet =D
hey its like 17 bucks for 2 gigs, basically the same price as a flash drive

don't get the fake ones because yeah you pay less
but they break easier and where does your money go from there?
might as well invest in a authentic one and get your money's worth yeah?

i just bought one and it works perfectly fine
the ears are tiny and fragile but if you're careful then you won't break it
i'd get one 2gb one,
i bought mine of 30 i think?
