Just a simple question, what does a guy's smile tell? Does it mean something or is he just being polite? Whenever he sees me he would flash me this smile and it's really cute. But there are times when he walks past me and doesn't even see me! even when i'm looking at him and he just doesn't notice. But a lot of times he's already looking and smiling at me when i see him. x)

^ well, nope. i tried talking to him once and i was really shy and he seemed pretty nervous too cus he had his arms folded and stuff and thats basically it. this was after when we went on a school trip.... i met him there. it was at night time when i sneaked over to my friends room and he was there. we got talking and i ended up sleeping on his legs... yep. nothing much has happened after that though.

Could mean anything. He could be smiling at you because:

He smiles at everyone.
He is being polite.
He thinks you're cute.
He thinks you're ugly. (In that case he is smiling bc he is thinking about something funny.)
Could mean nothing at all... like you said... sometimes he dont even see you, meaning when he does he smiles probably bc he sees you often, so the thing to do would be to smile, but he doesnt notice you even when you pass each other up... means hes not really looking for you.

Do you like him? Maybe you can try talking to him. For me, as a guy, I usually smile at everyone who I come into eye contact with. There is also different smiles too, so you have to be more specific.

well smile means nothing. That is not a sign that he likes you. You don't need to worry about him smiling.

Don't worry too much about it. You like him so everything he does that is "good" towards you, you take it as if its a sign he likes you. Who knows, go after it, maybe he does like you...or maybe he will.
