Has this idea ever hit you?

Lets say you like someone, but you dont think they like you back. So you act like you dont like them so you dont seem desperate or whatever.

But in actuality, the other person likes you. And sees that your not acting like you like them. So therefore they dont like like they like you either.

So end result, both think the other person doesnt like them. When in real life, they both like each other.

Ever think about that?

Kinda sucks, but hey, what's not meant to be isn't? Idk, haha.
I've experienced that when I was like in 3rd grade. I'd always pretend never to like anyone back then.
And then like in 6th grade, when we're all confessing our past secrets, we'd be like "wait, you liked me!? Wow, I liked you too!"

Hahaha, memories.

yea that happened to me, so NOW, i just flirt right on. and if i get rejected - that is better than never knowing that the crush DID like you back. u can't turn back time, but u can still move on, right ?

lol.
I blame the girl.
it looks like this girl is playing hard to get.
And seriously, girls that are playing hard to get, just doesn't work.

strangely enough, we the guys are not to blame if it's like this tongue.gif
Of course you have to show some interest towards her. If you don't, your fault I guess lol.

anyways, bottom point, this ain't a drama world so one of you gotta show some interest. both of them.
but to your real actual question xD I don't think this would happen a lot unless they both are dumb.
There are some exceptions though.

it happened 2 me... It dragged on for 2 years, then he got fed up and confess anyway.. we're together now.
valuable lesson: act before it's too late. Luckily these 2 years neither of us like anyone else enough to move on. Imagine if we do though, then we'll never be together.

Well it never really happened to me because once I like someone I have my ways of showing them or letting them know I like them and usually they like me back. If they don't like me, I sense in a way and then I know when to give up :]

I hate when this happens. sleep.gif
I usually just end up giving up because I get fed up with waiting for the guy to confess.
I just think if you give the guy hints you like him, he doesn't pick it up or too scared to confess...
he's not worth for me....

I liked her, but didn't think she would of liked me.
I figure out she liked me back after she moved though -__-;

HECK YES! i think about that everyday. do i try to change it? no. what's done is done. you can't turn back time and make it happen it anymore. and like someone mentioned what's not meant to be isn't.

story of my life.
i really want to show him // tell him what i feel
but...i am really afraid of being laughed at
its not rejection of him not wanting me, but the idea of them laughing and using me as a joke

I think about that all the time. xD I'm actually in a situation like that now. It's been going on for 2 years now I think? Yeah, that sounds about right. Waiting for him to make a move. Been thinking of making a move myself, but then my doubts kick in and I end up not making a move.

This is usually the story between most of my friends that are together. As a result, I'm pretty straightforward with my feelings...
This is my signature.

Lovely, isn't it?
