So please share your story! How/where/when did you and your bf/gf transition from being just friends to MORE than friends?

it just happened. we had the same classes together and sort of became good friends... until he found out my number from one of my friends and asked me out

UMM. We exchanged screen-names over summer school and got to know each other really well. Then we ended up with a math class together and I started hanging out with his group of friends a bit more.

my friend's younger brother was talking to me and he happened to be there too. he asked for my number and then we started talking over the phone most of the time. he went to my school too so when class started, we started to hang out more often and that made me knew him better. a couple of months after that, he asked me out.

and he added me on msn becuase he knew i was going through a rough time
and tried to help me and be there for support.
we had most of the same classes the following school year
so we became closer as friends and then we ended up dating

we were friends for a about a year in high school. he had a gf at that time so we were just friends and NEVER saw each other has gf/bf type! The thought of dating never crossed our minds since we always insulted each other. After he graduated we kept in touch online and i later found out that he and his gf have been broken up for awhile. Over the summer he mssged me to hang out and i decided why not? we were pretty good friends before. So we started to hang out more and realized that we were really compatible and had the same sense of humor. He finally gathered enough courage to ask me one night if i saw us being more than just friends. It took me awhile to give him a response, but in the end, my answer was yes.

BUT it was sooo very awkward for me to transition from being a friend to being a gf since it requires more affection. Our friendship was built upon insults, sarcasm and jokes so that means now i have to be careful of what i say haha, but our inside jokes still crack us up. Plus, i'd say we we had more compatibility than we did chemistry.

Well, I first saw him when he said hi to one of my guy friends. At first we literally hated each other, crazy eh? Somehow, someway we started to talk, flirted, text each other and then it led me to liking him. I was glad we became good friends because then we became lovers for 2 years and more. Even though he moved away to another state, I still love him.

We were never really friends to begin with. I thought he was cute and he thought I was cute and so our friends tried to introduce us, but that failed, so he found my screen name and IM'd me one night. We talked for a week-ish and then he asked if I wanted to go see a movie. I don't think either one of us thought of it as a "date", but on our way home he lost a contact and asked me to guide him home (apparently an excuse to hold my hand). So I guess you could say that was the transition from being friends to more? Hahaha.

One day I heard him dissing one of my friends so I waged a war on him. Then he texts me outta the blue talking shyt. Next thing I know for weeks we are texting shyt to each other. Then the texts turn giddy and BAM I realize the bastard has grown on me. What can I say, love is truly blind.

My friend and i were actually friends for about three years and he liked one of my friends.. And he would try to impress her and i would help him with cute ideas. I guess later he told her that he likes her..but he realized that he wasnt the one for her. He told her how he truely felt about me saying that i would try and help him with ideas and stuff but it only made him think about me more. A couple of weeks later that friend he tried to impressed told me thr truth about who he truely liked..I couldnt face up to it until about a year ago. But when i finally did it turned out that he was waiting for me We have been together ever since. We are also planning to get married soon its like a cute korean high school/college fairy tale haha

Oh and the specifics. We started talking when i was in Vegas. I finally confessed that i liked him..and when I came back and we went on three dates. And on that third date (03.12.06) he took me to a nearby park/pond. we took a nice look walk while the sun was setting. He held me close and asked about what i thought about long-term relationships. And i told him it was what i've always wanted. And he said "Euni..i know its soon but.. will you be my girlfriend? I've been waiting for you for so long..." who wouldnt say yes to that right? haha

oh specifically? okay.

one day he asked if i wanted to have lunch with him and i said okay. afterwards, we went to the beach, hung out in the arcade that was near it, tried not to get ourselves wet but that failed since we were pushing each other to the water. We were pretty wet, so we stayed at the beach for the rest of the day just drying ourselves and talking about the past and random things and also playing 'i spy' haha. it was fun. That night when he drove me home, he told me he was falling for me and that he MIGHT have a crush on me haha and he wanted to know if i saw us being more than friends. But man it was so difficult for him to say it! he kept telling me he had something to ask, but never asked until i told him to just get to the point! my answer was yes but we didn't make it official until two days later.
