These are the 2 possible careers that I have considered. I don't know anyone who are graphic or advertising designers. And I would really love to learn more about it. Thanks for helping out a curious student.
What is your career?
What academic degrees/majors did you have to get?
Is there any licensing, certification, and continuing education requirements for this career?
What specific type of jobs and responsibilities might someone have in this career?
What is your typical workday?
Whats the beginning salary you should expect?
Are there any benefits package?

Ive studied graphics/advertising and media. my career now is working in sales for Lenovo. What i found out in being around people in that field is
"not what you know is who you know"
I majored in Advertising, and did a lot of graphics and animation, video editing and i loved it made my creative side come out other then the stragetic side of things organising and all.. i like that to.. very fun course.
In regards to licensing and what not i don't actually know i never made it into the field i wanted to be in. Some of my friends work with magazines and media sections (media buying i.e. buying time slots for companies), but i don't think you be need anything like that if your working for a company.
Money is always good but your expect to work like a 7-8 hrs a day full time 9-5. Its a very fast pace and ever expanding with new ideas so it be good to get there. Its hard without experiences so its always best to start small as long as your in there somewhere u can always move up.
