Do You Believe The Human Race Will Last Forever? i dont...

of course, there is hope of living in other distant planets which may suit our living conditions(oxygen, temperature, food source, etc). however, getting to another galaxy is an impossible task. for one, the distance we have to cover(we're talking light years) cant be obtained unless we find a way to transport ourselves faster than the speed of light(which cant be done, as there is no way we can accelerate to/decelerate from such speeds in our given our lifespan). also, even if we found a way, we cant go at such speeds while maneuvering/avoiding obstacles in the way, as we know space is full of floating debris. even the smallest particles would make a devastating impact at such speeds. looking from a bigger scale, humans are no different from any other animal, and just like the dinosaurs, we will naturally die out when the time comes regardless of our efforts.
here is the really crazy part:
everything in space follows a cycle, and in some point in time, every matter in the universe will face a black hole - a region in space where the gravitational pull is so strong, even visible light cannot escape once sucked in, along with everything else that gets near. once it has reached it maximum capacity, it is believed to explode, hence the Big Bang.. where everything starts over again. seeing how time is infinite, there is no beginning nor end to it. now imagine how many cycles of galaxies have been going on throughout the universe, and its no coincidence that earth has been the ONLY planet capable of sustaining life. and as big as the universe is, im sure there has been other intelligent life forms- far more intelligent than mankind that have lived galactic generations before us. hell, there may even very possibly be other life on distant galaxies this very moment in time. but in the end, we all face the inevitable. everything we've gone through... everything we know of today will someday be broken down to the very atom(if not smaller), and nothing will be left of us - no records, no history. and the cycle repeats itself.
Cause I'm gonna burn one down.

Perhaps even manipulated by the Protoss race. Not really sure which one to go by....
On a more serious note,
It is inevitable that the human race cannot last forever. After all the main source of energy for us to live is the SUN. Without the sun, which is estimated to last another 10BILLION years, humans could not survive. But think about it, 10 BILLION years.... that is a long ass time. I'm sure by then something will be created, perhaps DOMES or something, where humans can continue to live. Look at how advanced life is now from just ten year ago. Technology has made living life for humans significantly easier in just a matter of a decade or two. In 10 billion years, the sun will run out and there will be so much scientific study that all humans will be frozen and connected to some hyperspace virtual world where they can live on in their MINDS. Freaky huh. Okay i have no idea what I'm talking about but all I know for a fact is, if the sun does die and human race perishes, I will be LONG gone to know.

I don't really mind though, I can be selfish and quite enjoy the view of Sydney Darling Harbour from my home.

Proven fact. When Earth's natural resoucres dried up and became a desolate wasteland, Wall-E had only one companion. A cockroach.
