I don't think you need to be an any hurry to confess...
If I were you, I'd just go with the flow and once you get more evidence or spend more time with him, you'll discover if he likes you or not ^^
I have a a lot of flirty guy friends and used to get mixed msgs, so now I just like to wait it out or let time decide whether or not they like me.
If you're more daring, just TELL HIM =) Nothing better than being blunt about it and you get an answer right away!
