there's a very big difference between this model and the 52" model. The only thing that's the same is the styling and the brand.
First off yours is most likely a full blown HDTV with 1080p resolution. Gaming will look nice on it because it is 120hz and has anti-judder features (which Samsung calls Automotion Plus).
The T220HD is a computer monitor with a built in TV Tuner. It is first and foremost a monitor. It does not have 1080p resolution.. it is 1680 x 1050 (wsxga+), which is common in computers but not tvs. Thus it is not 1080p.. and currently monitors of that size do not run at 120hz or have anti-judder which will be very noticeable when gaming.
As to the author, get it if you want.. You got a good price on it.. the only other decent deal for a TV in that size range is the Samsung 2333HD, but only Office Max and Depot carries it and it will not feature most of what a bigger HDTV has (yes it is also a monitor with a tv tuner.) but it actually has 1080p resolution.

ah thanks for the info. mm i dont really need the 1080p (cuz it adds to the price) lol as long as it looks decent enough for gaming (which i hope it is) ill be good with it.
mmm still thinking but after what u said i think i will just go with it

No the samsung is better. It's 1080p vs the Olevia 720p (even though at this size, it does not matter).
I've never heard of the brand Olevia, but i'm sure Samsung is the higher brand here as I have a 32" Samsung LCD that looks amazing when I'm gaming on it.
Samsung looks 10x better than the Olevia.
In conclusion, you should get the samsung one.

I have my PS3 hooked up to the HDMI in the back and my 360 with the HDCP I have the audio through my Sennheiser headphones. Picture is awesome and crisp as I just sit a few feet away.

Ever since I read news that Samsung and Viewsonic have made a 22" 120hz monitor.. I've been constantly following the news to see when it'll reach state side.

yeah, go to a best buy and check it out (they'll falsely advertise it as being calibrated.. when whats really there is one tv having anti-judder turned on and another turned off).
there is a small monitor with 120hz.. although its a professional one

cause for the 40 inch the pixels are only a bit bigger
but it's stretched a lot more
so it should be clearer on the 22 inch..
